I read hungry caterpillar this morning at the docs! I loved loved loved it as a child (along with The Bad Tempered Ladybird)

I'm going to skip the first book as have to move house etc next week, but maybe we could put a list together that covers maybe one a month (or more?)? Then we have time to get them in advance and a date towards the end of the month to start a thread talking about the book?

January - Book: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night

January - Film: Tron?

January - Youtube Clip: Gap Yah

February - Book: Toast by Nigel Slater (I'm only suggesting this because I recently bought it and havnt read it yet, also i think there was a tv show of it on around Christmas?)

February - Film: Voyage of the Dawn Treader?

Febuary - Youtube Clip: ?

March - Book: ?
March - Film: ?

etc?

Any other genres anyone wants to add in? Maybe an online poem we could all just find with search?

Or is this overdoing it? Would just books be better? Sorry I do get carried away sometimes

this is a brill idea, i might just be in sporadically though as im not really much of a film person and can only read crime thrillers, anything else and i cant get into it and end up spending 10 mins reading 1 chapter again and again cos i get destracted lol.
