So we have had some lovely ltttc bfps over the last few days and its just wonderful news.
Some of us have had many hurdles, PCOS, miscarriages, IVF, IUI, unexplained infertility etc. Whatever your journey I thought it would be nice for us to all to keep each-other going until we ALL get our BFPs. I believe we will all get there so long as we keep trying. I am trying to tell myself that it will happen, every time I have a negative thought, I am trying to block it out with a positive one.
Lets do this ladies :)

:dust::dust::dust:

Lovely idea lisey :) It certainly has been a boost for the ltttcers this month I'm hoping everyone can come along and this is the start of a mass ltttc bfp and baby boom!

I'll be cheering from the side lines especially for my ltttc friends as I know its been a tough ride. Lots of baby dust xx

Maybe we can think of things that we do or would like to try to keep ourselves positive? I am trying block out negative thoughts as I said and also will try to listen to relaxation music before bed or zita west as they both help me from over thinking before sleep xx

It sounds weird but I sometimes enjoy wallowing in negative thoughts, it helps to dredge up all the bad stuff and deal with it. Like watching depressing soap operas!! But I suppose the trick is to sort the negative thoughts out and then dismiss them. I haven't got the zita west download yet as I'm not sure if it will take up all of the data on my phone! I must investigate!
I am also doing what Loubalouba suggested and imagining children in our house but not focusing on how they got here! It is very helpful.

That's a good way to think of it, I am going to do the same :)
I do wallow too, I get what you mean, it can help to get all the thoughts out, I tend to dwell though and find it hard to let go of those thoughts once they're there xx

Great thread ladies :) and with the hope floating about hopefully this helps u to feel positive :) you could write down all your negative thoughts or thoughts in a diary before going to bed to get it all out? Set a time every day to do it and then for the rest of the time if negative thoughts come in your head think I will think about this later when I do my diary and not now, then try to just let the thought go, imagine it floating away out of your head... Or lock it away until later that way they won't cpnsume u all the time. Look up mindfulness body scan by Jon kabat zinn and do it before bed when u r alone and can concentrate! When you get used to it do it on your own and when u get to your abdomen focus on your ovaries and what u want them to do (I.e mature when stimming etc) or lining thicken or embryo implant then imagine yourself with bumps and having the baby etc. I find it really relaxing and helps give u belief u can see yourself as a mum.

Hypnotherapy can increase the success rate of ivf I had it and it really helped me keep calm.
Good luck ladies routing for you and praying for u xxx

I love this idea!! :D
I'm blocking out negative thoughts, watching the secret, throwing myself into my business and have lots of things booked from my bucket list till my op in Jan/Feb. 2 year mark is on christmas day so glad we have Venice just before :).

If i think negatively I definitely dwell and it doesn't help me at all!

Also everyday I write 10 things I'm greatful for and in the morn do 5 positive affirmations. I also do mindset training- les brown youtube videos are really good :)

Also an app called help stop anxiety and panic lets you type out how you feel and identify the negatives and you then change to positive things. So like "I'll never have a baby" would he catastrophising and would change to like "I will have a baby no matter how long it takes to get there". Xxx

I love the mindfullness body scan, so relaxing. I like those ideas of locking the thoughts away xx

I sometimes like to write down things I'm worried about or negative thoughts then have a bit of a ritual burning of them! Bit random but it can be therapeutic to watch your worries go up in flames (don't get too carried away and burn your houses down though!).

I like the idea of hypnotherapy but not sure how I would find one in my area! I wouldn't be surprised if I had some confusing thoughts and memories buried deep! I do see a counsellor and its amazing what I remember and the connections she makes!

I just googled mine and emailed a few in my area and then went with the reply Iliked the most! X

I would love to try it too. Very expensive around here though. I am not sure how often or how long would need it? Xx

This is a great idea lisey. Would love to help in any way I can. Good luck to all you lovely ladies, dont know what I would have done without you over the past few months! xx

Thanks poispinner :)

I was just driving back from work and noticed the number plate in front was BFN...I switched it around as a sign that I won't get anymore BFNS...Its mad that I pay that much attention to numberplates but its on the brain. I have also been seeing 2+ magpies all the time, I always used to only see one. I am taking them as positive signs xx

You may only need a few hypnotherapy sessions, it's very relaxing and changed me as a person, it gave me so much strength!! Yes I spent a lot of money on it but I would never change a thing because of how much stronger I became, I surprise myself constantly in how much better I cope these days.

If you have it with Ivf then you could just have 2 sessions before transfer and after but I think you need at least 3 to see a difference xx

I found a woman very close by that specialises in fertility as she had fertility issues too. I am tempted, just don't want to feel obligated to continue on for months. She also offers reflexology but I am funny with feet, not sure I can cope xx
