Inspirational Story .....hope for us all yet....

My work colleague come and told me today that she is 14 wks pregnant....

.... I was so genuinely ....so over the moon for her .. she has been trying for a baby for nearly 8 yrs.... several miscarriages, an eptopic (dont know how to spell?) and failed IVF (that she paid for herself with all her savings)

..... she turns 40 in about 2 weeks.

I can remember speaking to her not long after my second miscarriage, and she was so supportive and so positive, saying , you know your body can do , you have the pudding for proof ...she also said I know my body can do it, and I dont have the proof,...... but i just know it can.

I can remember thinking at nearly 40 , and after all that , your positive mental attitude is really something ... and now here she is 14 wks gone.

So ladies, there is hope for all of us......take this story as inspiration.... believe in your body ......and never ever give up. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Personally I don't know if I have that level of perserverance though??

(although I guess I do have some level of perserverance, as I've already had 3 miscarriages, am under specialist care now and still plugging away for my sticky bean??)

I love reading stories of people who fell pregnant after failed IVF, I know it's not common but does help staying a bit positive.
