sausage roll is shockingly full of calories, i nearly passed out when i looked at the label, but it could just be the ginsters one I bought.worth checking definately. try adding some fruit maybe at breakfast time? 6lbin 4 weeks in achieveable, you need to lose 1-2lb per week. good luck!!! are you weighting in on monday?

I didn't think it would be so bad having a sausage roll when you take in what I'm having all day? Is my thinking wrong?

I'll check in Monday yes atm I'm 12.10, that might not change by then? x
 
yeah if youre not eating a lot else its not too bad but its fairly empty calories IYKWIM

I just wanted to make sure you knew cos i was munching away without realising :lol:
 
Ok so I feel Ive been pretty good this week....

so I had chips from the chippy :D nom nom nom

I feel a tad guilty now, as I did continue to eat to a point of feeling ill :blush: but I figure if Im going to do it, Im going to do it right!
 
Tips:
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS (get it? :lol:) eat breakfast. It doesnt matter what it is, even if its only an apple. You need it to get your metabolism working as it should.
Always drink at least 1.5l of water per day. This not only makes you feel full (dehydration makes you hungry) but your body realises that it doesn't have to retain water cos you keep providing it with plenty. Water retention can count for about an extra 5lb of weight. It sounds strange but the more water you drink the less you retain.
They are my tips :lol:
Today I have had 2 protein shakes, meal replacement bar and about 3litres water. Hour gym sesh after work, cardio and weights.
 
Right ladies..Iam sooooo proud of myself! I went to Asda tonight after work. You know how they ALWAYS have offers on? Well I saw packs of choclate bars...5 bars for a quid!!!!! There was dairly milk, caramel, boost and my fav...TWIRL!!!!!!...........

............I walked past and dint buy any. For those of you that dont know me very well - that is a MASSIVE achievent :)

Today to eat i had a cereal bar for breakky, tuna salad roll with no butter for lunch and Lemon sole and salad for dinner. Then a cheeky Jaffa Cake bar! (only 90 something cals)
 
cant beleive how many of us want to lose 21lb by xmas !!! I havent had a great start to my diet as AF turned up this week so not preggers again and this has got me down which means i turn to chocolate !!!!!!! anyway going to way myself on monday .......... as long as i lose something i will be happy this week x x x x
 
I'm having toast or crumpets for brekkie (some days nothing)
I'm having soups for lunch with 2 brown rolls
Salad for dinner with either ham or a sausage roll

I drink a lot of coffee though!

Any tips?

I plan to detox for a week if all else fails.

I'm not on a diet yet till after baby -so sorry for crashing, but do watch what I eat as in low fats.

I would give up the toast or crumpets, for weetabix or porridge made with skimmed milk, last you longer and no fats involved

lunch sounds great as long as low fat soup, sure they are
I would replace the sausage roll for better cals, like ham and boiled egg, or chicken

When we first started ttc I managed to lose about 21lbs but then I've noticed it's slowly going back on because I'm getting a bit careless about what I'm eating and the weather's getting colder so I'm wanting big hot meals and snacking while we watch TV.

I'd like to lose 14lbs by Christmas.

So far I've had porridge & tea for breakfast (which sounds really healthy but there was plenty of golden syrup on it. Oops). I don't eat a lot at lunch time, when I'm working I tend to just drink plenty - tea, water & juice which I know isn't good but I don't often get the chance to sit down and eat so we have a big meal on the evening instead. I suppose it's what your body gets used to.

OH is surprising me with tea tonight. I think it's a stew and I'm vegetarian so it'll probably have soy mince in it. But he's found a recipe for 5-minute muffins and I think he'll have a go at making them as well, so pudding probably won't be healthy.

JJ Mum I know I shouldn't but I don't like cereal - Anyone got any suggestions?

So how's every 1 do? I've lost 3lb :) got a bloody virus on my laptop so on my phone which is a pain. So won't be on much over the next few days. Good luck 2 every 1 x
 
damn it, had my cocopops before weigh in! Ill go do it now. Im not holdin out much hope :(
 
Right so Ive lost about 1/2lb haha! I mean, its better than putting weight on....but I could s**t out more than that :shock:

Ah well...hopefully joining the gym this week (been waiting for my bloomin student loan) so I can get excercising!
 
Well I've been cutting out sweets and choccies full stop. I remember once I did this when I was a teenager (oh so long ago!!) and just by doing this I lost a load. So it's only been about 3 days lol but The scales definitely were just under 11st. I also have been having healthier meals I think. So I declare myself to have lost 1lb lol.

Oh and for when your craving sweet stuff, Those elevensies bars and oat biscuits are really good!! x

I've lost 4lbs so far!! I've not been particularly good though, very little exercise as I've had a really nasty cold. I'm aiming to go swimming with my mum this week who is also planning to lose a bit of weight!
 
:cheer: Ive lost 4lb aparently. But Im at my parents house and using a different scales so not sure. OH weighed himself and reckoons they are the same as ours at homet though :yay: I totally dont deserve it, I had banoffee pie yesterday and pudding on saturday night and loadsa wine :doh: this obviously goes to show HOW MUCH I was eating before!

Meeah you are the slimmer of hte week so far :yay:
