Congrats Laura!! And I agree get a digi done miss J!!
I had my scan and clomid has been an epic fail for me again, no follicles growing and my ovaries are as polycystic as ever!! Aghhh. But spoke to consultant and seeing him a week on Mon to start injections to get me ovulating. So that'd me done with the clomid thread!! Good luck guys hope you get on better than me xx

Laurab - huge congrats!!

Missj - those are lovely positive lines! Make the most of them (as on average you'd ov 12-36 hrs after the first sign of a positive)

It's basically FSH injections to make the follicles grow, then a HCG shot to make you ovulate; which are used with iui normally but they use them for pcos patients who don't respond to anything else.
They are expensive as you have to be monitored with a few scans so I'm lucky to have the chance on the NHS.
It maybe something you could find out about privately? Xxx

Thanks ladies, I didn't do a digi.. I told myself it was too early after stopping the Clomid and must be why the lines were good. I BDed last night just in case though.

I'll be doing another ov test this afternoon, if it's as dark or darker than yesterday's, I'll do a digi ov test.

Blondy - Sorry the Clomid's not worked out but great that you're getting injections to help things along, I really hope it's the kick up the backside your ov needs. x

I did yesterday's at around 1.30 - 1.45 in the afternoon, I'm going to keep going as I'm wondering whether they're dark cos I did them too soon after stopping Clomid?

Forgot to say that my ov test today was basically the same as CD9 and 10.. I think now it's dried it's a shade lighter but I don't think there's much difference between them.

Maybe I tested too early after stopping the Clomid. I'll keep doing them anyway. We BDed last night so doesn't matter I suppose.

I've already binned it. I haven't kept any of the ov tests. I didn't think it was worth taking a pic cos it looked the same as the others lol.

I'm CD12 today. Will do another ov test later but am taking them with a pinch of salt! Don't know why I thought they'd be predictable.

Anyway, lesson learnt, will just keep BDing but not going to rely on the ov tests.

I'm a hormonal mess this month feel like such a failure fx it's a really high progesterone and a bfp waiting which is why I feel soooo rubbish but I doubt it

I have a question ladies..

My consultant wants me to try the 6 months of Clomid if we need them, have another appointment for November booked just in case. He's given me Norethisterone as well to bring on AF if we're not pregnant but I'm confused about when I should be taking it.

My reason being, if I wait til the cycle is over which is CD30, I have around 12 days from then til the next cycle cos I have to take them for 10 days and AF showed up on the second day after stopping. So I wondered whether my consultant wants me to have that period of time where I'm on Norethisterone or am I meant to start on CD20?

*Confused*

DH is going to call the consultant's secretary and ask but thought I'd ask here first.

Also, what if I do get pregnant but the test doesn't show BFP straight away and I think I'm not pregnant so start the Norethisterone?
