Morning Ladies!!

So I'm on CD2, first round, 50mg!! Oh I'm nervous, the thought of night sweats and nausea does not appeal to me haha! I'm excited too though, will be so worth it! I'm a little sad too though that I've got this far I need Clomid but I'm happy I finnally have some answers and know that the problem is PCOS.

I have a few questions I hope no one minds?! Well before the lap and dye I had horrendous AF, in agony, vomiting, fainting etc but it normally only lasted for the first day then I was fine after that, the Fertility Dr said that I won't have anymore of that now I've had the lap but I'm into my second day and its still very painful, do you think the clomid will make this worse?

Also I'm starting charting too, just waiting on my bbt coming, how will clomid effect my chart?

And one more, when do you girls take yours? Morning, afternoon or night?

i cant advise about lap and dye stuff as didnt hav one.
when i was on clomid i took mine at night (this was reommended by other clomid girls as you can try and sleep thro the worst of the side effects ...if u get any that is)...i dont think it really maters effectiveness wise tho when you take it
i did BBT charting from day 1 of ttc so well before going on clomid, and whilst on clomid...i noticed a bit of a difference, bt beauty for u is wont notice a diff as ur only starting now while on clomid.
i found chating was amazing for me as meant i had an element of control...i wood advise u also imputting ur temps onto an online site (best ones to use are fertility friend, and TCOYF...i used both) as they tell u when uv ovd...prob is it doesnt tell u until AFTER uv ovd so its best to just bd regularly incase

Hi all,
I've been TTC for 2.5 years I have been to see a consultant and he ordered a number of tests, bloods, scans and a scan of my tubes unfortunately the scan on my tubes was not able to be completed due not being able to make a seal I have been back to the consultant for a follow up appointment and he gave me the option to start on Clomid or to go on a waiting list for a laparoscopy - I chose to start on treatment as I would prefer not to have an operation if it is not needed. I started on 50mg this month and when I went to have my scan done on day 11 I was told I had 3 follicles above 10cm - I went last week for my bloods to see if I have ovulated and am awaiting the results.

Have any of you had a similar experience as now I think I might have made the wrong choice and gone directly for the laparoscopy as I might be wasting 6 months on Clomid and we are unsure if there is a blockage in my tubes????

Hi hun, welcome!

I'm sorry I haven't been through the same situation as yourself, my consultant did bloods, HyCosy and tested dh's swimmers before giving me Clomid. If you're concerned about whether you made the right choice, can you not call your doctor and ask if you can try 3 months on Clomid then a lap? Or go for the lap first?

Lol thanks hun! Still getting waves of nausea and last night I was so bloated after dinner that I actually felt like I was going to be sick. Could just be coincidence but I never get bloated, didnt even finish my dinner lol. Plus I slept for 4 hours in the afternoon while dh was on the ps3...also unusual! Fx it's good signs and not just my body being naughty. Oh and I have had cramps on and off but they only last a little while... Hmm! X
