The Clomid Thread - 6 BFP's!

Oooooo girls i keep getting 'gushes' and feeling wet with watery CM, cant say i have noticed this in any other month. Also keep having niggles in my tummy but sometimes they feel like i need a poo and last night got a shooting pain in my low abdo. Probably just my body preparing for a period, but cant help but hope.

Whats the census on having a bath in the 2ww????

Nothing to report here either but then I'm not even hopeful after our consultation last week. On a more positive note hubby gave his sample today and then took my blood test results in as they wanted the actual full blood count and thyroid numbers. But that's all our bits done for now so we're just waiting for whatever comes next.

I have terrible pains in my lower stomach tonight. I've had to take paracetamol and sitting with a hot water bottle at the moment. Still not had a +opk, who knows what's going on with me this month!

7dpo today....back is still in agonising pain.....also had a couple of cramps on the left earlier....boobs slightly tender but nothing major....nipples look, i dunno, just a bit different but nothing that like makes me think wow look at those nipples i have to be pg iykwim

hope its our lucky cycle girlies...ur symptoms all sound promising

I understand what you mean hun. I've got one more round after this if no bfp but my follow up appointment is next month and I'm feeling the pressure! Plus I've got one preggers sister and another who has just started ttc her next one....I've not thought much about it but if I go on to my next round I know it will be weighing on my mind. you're not alone hun.

Hi girls,

I hope you don't mind me joining here. I just had my first round of clomid from 4th October to 8th. I am slightly confused about few things, well mainly, when do I ovulate? I think I did on the 8th as I felt shooting pain through one of my ovaries and had lots of watery cm. the thing is I think I started clomid on day 6 of cycle: I started spotting 4 days before af was due and on 3rd day it felt like normal period, so I assume 1st day of cycle 30th sept.

My side effects? I have no sore breasts, and that feels like such a relieve! I usually have really sore breasts for 2-3 weeks, and now nothing! But they should get a bit sore around ovulation? Had few hot flashes with breaking sweat, light headache on last day of clomid, and usually I get egg white cm, stretchy, but now it's all watery, but lots of it, very wet, haven't been like this for long time, felt good when we were bd have been drinking lots of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, so it should be good have been feeling light pain in both ovaries, and lately pulling pain around belly button. Have been constipated since my period (that's like pregnancy hormones), ugggghhh, but found cure, natural of course. So nothing extreme. Day after last clomid I felt dry, that's why I thought I might have ovulated already, if I did.



Ladies, what do you think? Oh, I found out on 3rd October I have PCOS with enlarged ovaries, and we went on holidays, which I perfectly timed for bd, so I thought I need little help with my O, hence the use of Clomid.

Do you think I ovulated? The plan is to keep bd for a week every 2nd day. It just felt different yesterday, like all closing up.

Thanks MissJ, yesterday was cd19 the pains were horrible but seemed to go away a bit after taking paracetamol. I'm still feeling very tender this morning - almost like I've been doing sit ups. We managed to bd this morning...a bit uncomfortable though. Going to phone the fertility nurse today to explain and see what she thinks.

hey hun,
you count first day of full flow as ur cd 1.....what cd's were you told to take your clomid? I take mine cd 2 - 6 so start it the day after full flow starts.

with clomid the aim of it is to get you to ov faster, and if it works properly its "supposed" to make you ov within i think its 6 - 10 days of taking your last tablet (so for me it should make me ov between cd 12 and 16, tho it hasnt done this iv ovd like cd 18 or 22 etc)

have u used opks? (bear in mind if you use opks too early it will show as a positive due to the clomid but u may not have ov'd if that makes sense)

so what cd do you think you have ovd and how many days afte rtaking your last tablet was it?
The main thing i have learnt since ttc and also while being on the clomid is your body can play tricks with you and because we are so intune to our bodies ttc we notice every little thing, so if i were you i would just continue to bd every other day/every 2 days, as that way you wont miss ov....i made the mistake last cycle of thinking id ovd, i stopped bding, and turned out i hadnt and missed the boat

my temperature has weirdly stayed abover coverline (all my other cycles its been up and down like a yoyo lol)

Just got my bloods back ....... 124

The extra 50mg of Clomid hasnt made a massive impact. I got 114 on my 1st ever clomid cycle.

Please let this be it xxx

Ah girls I'm so excited for you all! And slightly jel of the prog results, I'm not being monitored so I've no idea what my levels are. I'm 9dpo today and to be honest, nothing out of the ordinary is happening.... still feel good though, fx for us all! X

Did u change ur preferences on toyf so the ov day is correct? Is FF saying u ovd?
