The Clomid Thread - 6 BFP's!

Hi ladies, sorry I've not been around much. AF arrived today. This means an 18 day LP which is just not right. I'm not gonna take any more clomid, its clearly not doing me any good. Only about a month or so until my iui appt so I'm trying to focus on that. As for tonight I'm having a lazy night, big bubble bath and might go mad and get a takeaway. Still on a diet so will choose wisely hope you girls are doing well xxx

Miss J did you manage your 7th BD in a row? We did and I think I may give myself a well deserved night off tonight! We've DTD CD8,10,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 and we'll probably try for CD20 and 22 then I will give up!!

Kay Kay sorry about your AF. I agree you need to come off the clomid, so you have a fresh start before your appointment.

Yes we did and thinking about maybe again tonight but I'll see how DH feels after work as he's on a late shift and I start my new school tomorrow. Eek!!

Urgh. DH woke me up when he got up for work. I'm 2dpo and we BDed last night - totally unexpectedly lol. 8 nights straight BDing, I think we are covered lol. X

Good luck MissJ!!!!!!! I've decided not to take clomid again this month. But we will still try. My plan for this month will be no clomid.....BD from CD 15 through 25 every other day and I'm going to break down and get some preseed. My hubby uses a lot of lube and I'm thinking maybe its killing off a lot of the little guys. Im going to continue to take the ovulation test but this time I wont tell my hubby when I'm ovulating so he doesnt feel pressured. Hoping this will work!!! When I went to the ER a few days ago the ultrasound lady that my ovaries look really good (besides the cyst) and that I have a ton of good follicles. I will keep you guys posted! Hopefully I can stay on this thread even though I'm not using the clomid.

JoJo I think that sounds like a great plan plus I'm sure it would be good to try something different. Its actually true that lube can kill sperm as can saliva as it has bacteria in it that's not sperm friendly lol. Conceive plus is supposed to be good. As is preseed. X

Confirmation from cd13 scan this morning that it was too early for a cd10 positive opk (which is what happened). I've got 1 dominant follicle on my right ovary at 20mm, which is good but lining is still thin at around 4mm. Guess we'll just have to hope that I do actually ovulate and my lining gets a bit better.

Roll on Wednesday when we go on holiday and can relax and BD, fingers crossed it helps...also my 30th b'day and our first anniversary when we're away so lots to celebrate!

Miss J! Well done you on 8 nights, you have definitely done all you can. DH has man-flu so I think we're done this cycle. A bit gutted as we always seem to fall at the last hurdle...maybe we burned ourselves out or maybe I knackered him out!! Ho hum!

Got the stresses of a new job now though so that'll keep my mind off the 2WW.
