apparently i have very progesterone this month - but my boobs are not sore.
so ??????
9dpo like me - urrghh its so horrid having to wait - when are you going test? Shall we do it together? x

5dpo and pretty sure I ovd cd14 (usually 15/16 with and without clomid)

Not holding out hope though as hubby's sa came back lower than last time at 10 million. I've got my clomid to take on hols ready for round 4!!

Corrinne im not sure when i going to test. Im trying to hold out as long as possible but each day is getting harder and harder!

I usually have a 31 day cycle so af would be due 24th...however i ov'd a little early this month and i usually have a 13 dy LP so i could test this tuesday 21st!

Its only a few days difference i know but i may have gone stir crazy by 24th! Lol

When do you plan on testing? I'll test with you....you never know we could end up bump buddies too!

Quick reply as am out - yes progesterone level being high could cause sore boobs but this probably varies person to person. I had sore boobs around ov which indicated high progesterone but this was never confirmed as I'm not being monitored. X

Ohhh I had the same side effects!! I work in a very hot salon as it is so I feel almost faint when I'm having a hot flush!! New bed for lots of bd-ing xxxxxx

well im back from cornwall....man i dont know how i went a whole week not coming on here....dnt have a choice tho as absolutely no signal or internet on my phone lol
had an amazing time tho, didnt realise how much i needed the break.
hope you all missed me

so i started spotting day before holiday and then it came full flow on the saturday....omg my period was soooo heavy and painful! started taking my 100mg clomid this cycle.....took last tablets last night, the hot flushes have been extreme this cycle, much worse than when on 50mg...today i was walking around newquay in the pouring rain in just a tshirt and still sweating, not pleasant. also had quite a few bad headaches this time whether thats the clomid i dunno.

I feel iv missed so much this week with all you girls and dont know at what stage you all are etc to be able to comment

anyway i thought maybe it would be a good idea to refresh our memories like on page 1? what do you think? as there are quite a few of us in the clomid club now arent there


Why am I on Clomid? - Gynaecologist said I wasn't ovulating so prescribed me clomid to help boost ov.

How much am I on? - gynaecologist prescribed me with 3 rounds worth of 50mg.....however, my 21 day bloods in the first round showed no ov so am now on round 2 but 100mg so fx 21 day bloos are better this time.

When do you take it? - I take mine on CD2 til CD6.

Any side effects? - the one that is really getting me is the hot flushes! not pleasant at all. its also made me a bit more emotional and hormonal. had few headaches too.

Did it help OV? - wel i ovulated cd 22 on the first round (obv too late for 21 day bloods to pick up though)....it gave me super lines on opks and gave me proper cramping around ov time.

If you had long cycles, did it help reduce them? - my cycles before clomid ranged, with shortest being 24 days and longest being 80 days....1st round of clomid my cycle was 35 days long which is brilliant for me! hopefully 100mg will shorten it a bit more for me.

Was Clomid a success for you? - watch this space i guess but fx

i caved im afraid emma, i done my other frer this morning.m bfn!
i know it would show up 4 days early on frer as it has before , esp as it was fmu.
so i know im out this month.
stupid dr calling me and getting my hopes up!

Hi ladies !! Can I join this thread ???

Just started my first cycle of 50mg Clomid after 32 months of ttc !! All tests are fine on both sides so consultant has put me on clomid to give me an extra boost !!!
At scan last week follicles where all fine but they where a little concerned that the lining of my womb is too thin !!!
Im not sure what i can do to help with this this month but if it is the same next month then the nurse said I need to speak to consultant again, currently on CD22 !!

Tillie, I am at arrowe park too and with Mr Ellard and his team, What a lovely supportive bunch they are !!! Its nice to know that not only somebody else is going through the same thing but at the same hosp too !!! Haha good luck Tillie xxxx

CD 4 for me today, just taken the 3rd dose and I have a headache and am a little bit ratty! I feel sorry for DH and DS!

Oww they are lovely, very helpful! Well that's what I thought, everyone is going through the same thing but knowing someone from the wirral is too makes me ease a little! So did you ring for your cd21 blood test results yet? Good luck to yo too mushy!xxxxxx :pray:
