Thanks KayKay, me too. I'm so fed up with bloody Clomid and planned BDing. I don't even remember where I put the Clomid pills! Maybe I was subconsciously putting them away really safely hoping not to need them again! Ha! x

AF still not here but BFN on the CB Digi. Come on AF, so I can get started on round 6. Sigh.

Today is the day I am going to copy my IVF referral letter from my doc and post it to the fertility clinic in Bristol. I think I may just need it with 2 rounds of Clomid left. And if I am paying for it then I am going to be having it when I decide so I thought it best to get the wheels in motion now.

Jacq I'm so sorry about the BFN. Maybe it's too early? But I think it's a good idea posting the letter off, I'd do the same if I were you. At least if anything, it'd be there as a sort of back up plan. x

I just wanted to wish all you ladies luck for your forthcoming cycle. Sadly I wont be joining you as my consultant has advised me to TTC without clomid for a few cycles. I feel like this is my home as I conceived on clomid and you're all so lovely and are in a very similar position to myself as LTTCers.

I've promised hubby we'll try without for a bit but I have 2 cycles of clomid leftover so I may well be on it soon if we have no luck

I also just wanted to share something with you in case it helps. I'd heard that clomid can thin the lining so I used the zita west approach on my BFP cycle to help thicken the lining and help increase blood flow by using a warm hot water bottle on my tummy (for 10 mins a day) leading up to OV. I also had lots of warm baths throughout my cycle to help with the same thing and to help me feel more relaxed and sleep better. Also make sure you don't exercise too strenously (like running) as this takes blood away from the womb....I just had brisk walks with the dog and did yoga classes.

Sorry about the bfn jacq Seeing it on the digi just plain sucks. It's so hard to keep going but even harder to actually throw the towel in So dig out those pills and keep going hun! x

Thanks girls, AF still not here but am having a few mild cramps down there so think she is on her way. I did try to post earlier but my internet has been on the wonk all morning, just to say that I think the referral should happen quite quickly as there was only a 2-3 week wait to see the consultant last time I called and I am looking to have IVF around October/November so I'd be due at the end of the school year (I start a new job in September so want to try to see out my first year if possible!).

Thanks for your support. Just found my pills in the desk drawer so have put them out ready for the next round. I hope they don't give me that awful soreness in my back again.

AF has just arrived (almost 8pm), so do I class today as CD1 or tomorrow as CD1? Not sure when to start the Clomid...help!!!

I think cd 1 is first day of full flow, I would count tomorrow as cd1. X

Oh pants! is there not an evening clinic you could go to? My GP is open from 8am til 8pm although I know not every surgery is like this. X

If you have the little pathology bag thingy then you could get bloods done at your hospitals pathology lab. I have mine done there, they're usually open til 5pm. If you don't have the little bag you could always ring your surgery and ask for one.

Miss J my GP surgery only does blood tests before 11 am so samples are picked up same day.

Full flow today so back on the Clomid tomorrow. Come on round 6! OMG I just looked on the NHS due date calculator website for what my due date would be if I get pregnant this cycle (does anyone else do this?!) and it's my son's birthday!!

Does anyone else have extremely short AFs since Clomid? I'm cd3 and it seems to have nearly gone. cd1 was quite heavy (TMI alert) and clotty too. It was lighter by cd2 and seems to have all but gone now. x

Miss J mine is clotty too, it was longer than normal the first round but seems to have shortened since. I seem to have only 2 or 3 heavy days then 2 or 3 days of reddish brown.

Miss j my second cycle my af only lasted 3 days and was really light.

Hope you girlies are ok really sad for you all that this cycle didn't work out

Today is scan day for me so I will update you all in about an hour!
