TEST PICS I need some advice

I have had on and off brown bleeding for 2 weeks now.
Attended EPU and a sac/yolk was confirmed on my second scan.

Monday I had heavy brown mucky discharge so I rang EPU, they weren't overly concerned.
Friday I had a thin red bleed (enough to drop in the toilet) with no pain, again, EPU were not concerned but said I should rest.

As you can imagine, I am driving myself mad!

Dates say I'm 8 weeks1 day but scan measured me as 6 weeks 1 day (roughly)

I couldn't stop myself and did a Superdrug test, but it was inconclusive as the result window didn't show any lines.

I panicked and bought a FRER and a cheapie pharmacy Answer test.

When I came home, the Superdrug test was now showing, although the test line is fainter than earlier in the week.

Shall I disregard it?

Top- Cheapie Answer test (Control line nearest thumb grip)
Middle- FRER
Bottom- Superdrug

I have a scan on Friday with EPU to check on the progression.

Shall I just stop winding myself up or do I have reason for concern?

Thanks
D x

Your test line is significantly darker than the control line on that middle FRER, so that's a positive sign!! Honestly though, the lines are not a good indicator of how your pregnancy is progressing. They get lighter/darker depending on how dilute your urine is, time of day etc.

You said you had no pain, so that's a good sign as miscarriages are usually accompanied by cramps. Good luck, try to rest like the doctor said. x

As winterwolf said your test looks good! I had bright red bleeding with my little boy at 8 weeks and then mucky brown on and off throughout pregnancy and all was fine :) i know its daunting and nothing anyone can say will make you stop worrying. I don't know how true this is but I've heard you shouldn't continue doing a pregnancy test later in pregnancy as the hcg is so high it can flood the test and show negative. Don't want that to happen to you then panic you! Hope Monday goes well hun xxx

Thank you to you both.
You have given me some reassurance.
The bleeding continued today (only a morning thing) and my partner is being the positive one which helps too.
Will call EPU Monday if I bleed in the morning, if not, ill hold off for the scan on Friday.
Thanks
D xx

I'm crossing my fingers that everything is going well and baby is fine. xxx

Fx for you for Friday hun, if it's any help I'm 29 weeks and had bleeding on and off until 24 weeks. None at all with my daughter. Same as the ladies above have said, testing at different times during the day will give you different strength lines as it's all in urine strength. So I'd not worry about the lines as yet. Xx

Just popped in to say I hope the bleeding has settled... Only 1 more day until your scan. Hope everything goes well lovely xx

Hello all,
Thank you for checking in Sharcaz.
I spoke with EPU again after another morning bleed on Monday, they tried to get my to hang it out till Friday but I pushed to be seen sooner.
I was scanned on Tuesday and the sonographer could only see a bubble again, although it had grown, it had not grown enough for LMP dates (26/02/2018)
I was told to prepare for a miscarriage by both the sonographer and midwife.
Of course, I have been very upset but clutching at straws for the follow up scan next Tuesday.
I have had no pain and no blood since and pregnancy symptoms.
Partner and I calculated conception date as 17th March, therefore making me earlier than predicted.
I'm just trying to remain optimistic in a sad situation.
Thanks
D x

Oh gosh Dannii I'm really sorry that they've said that! It's so difficult to know what's going on this early... And everything's so tiny at this stage I've gathered it's difficult to measure exactly and accurately. Really hope it doesn't end in mc for you sweetheart, sending lots of baby dust :dust: and fingers so tightly crossed for you that it's just to early to tell on scan at this stage. Hope next week brings better news xx

Scan showed no progress so I've been given a few days to make my decision on what route to take from here x
Much love D x
