Tax Rebate after maternity leave

Got my P60 today and it made me wonder if I'd be entitled to one?

I'm wondering about this because my tax has been altered while on maternity and I only currently pay about £5 NI at the mo? So not sure if this alteration would cancel out any over payment?

i got a wee rebate a few months back. Was around £50 I think. They just added it to my pay? (the tax figure was -£something

Yes I think so. My husband is an accountant and explained that tax codes can take a while to change depending on the efficiency of your company's payroll so you could be paying more tax than you should for a period of time. Even still, the tax code doesn't always reflect your exact earnings. I'd definitely fill out a tax rebate form to check!
