CCW everything sounds positive i had cramping up until 9 weeks and still get it when things are moving about and stretching - my doctor said a few drinks is fine just dont over do it! bu then the midwife said differently yesterday.

Haha charlotte yeah i know. So dtd sunday, oh was working back shift mon and tues, dtd last night and going to get on it tonight tomorrow and sat as ovulation should happen somepoint in next few days! Anyone tried the SMEP plan? X

MrsD, I did the SMEP when I got preg with second. if you search for it there was a thread going a few people got bfps from using SMEP x

Have scan on Saturday, getting all panicked that there won't be a hearbeat, or baby won't have grown any. xx

Thanks Peanut. A woman mentioned that her sister was doing it in work today. Totally random as no1 knows we are trying but she was chatting about how her sister is trying a new way to concieve and mentioned it. I asked again as had never heard of it but didnt wanna seem too interested so googled afterwards. I got a positive opk and smiley on digi today so think we might give it a bash. Do the 3 days then a day off then again for a last push. We have been bding every other night since day 8 as they suggest though so not full efforr.

I know its hard but try and not over think your scan. Try and enjoy this time. When do you get offered 1st scan? After how many weeks? X

MrsD, we found the SMEP difficult, after ovulation we stopped. Hubby couldn't keep doing it. Took forever aha!
You don't usually get a scan until 12-14 weeks. For recurrent miscarriges your supposed to get one at 6 weeks then 8 weeks then 12 weeks. But they are not sending me for the early ones because my private scan went fine. So I'm paying out again on Saturday for my 8 week one. Then if everything is ok having another 5th December. Then the nhs will do my 12 weeks one. X

Aw ok. I was thinking that if i got my bfp this month i could tell prople on xmas day (my parents etc) but if i wouldnt have scan by then i would need to think if something else. You see how my mind is wandering and thinking waaaay too far ahead. Just want to get into the 2ww now!

I did a couple of months on SMEP but we found it too much. Doesn't help that my cycles are long (up to 38 days) so we had to BD a lot. Also lost all romance doing it that often. Deffo worth a try if you're up for it tho - makes sense that it would work.

Ahhhh sorry to just jump in, but I got a 3+ on my digi! Even when I was 7/8 weeks I was still getting 2-3 last time. Feeling much more positive about the scan now. Xx

Morning everyone!! Great news peanut! I had another smiley face this morning and feel the line on opk was darker and stronger this morning. So when do i count my dpo1 today has had smiley yesterday morn and also this morn. Didnt dtd either yesterday as hubby was feeling under pressure i think cos he knew i got a smiley and was getting frustrated and annoyed last night that nothing was happening. But dtd this morn when he wasnt thinking about it as much so hopefully wont matter too much as i got another smiley and strong opk today x

Hi girls sorry for jumping on this thread just wanted opinions I started bleeding today done a test and a white line appeared before the colour started going across is it classed as invalid I've still got severe sore boobs normally they stop hurting either 24 hours before or within a few hours of started bleeding

Home, lying in bed. Horrible day, horrible hangover!
I'm 4 dpo, mild cramps this morning, but stronger this evening. They are to the right of my belly button.
Nipples are painful but my boobs are ok, headaches and nausea today but possibly from the hangover.

Peanut, good luck for the scan tomorrow Hun, will be thinking if you xxx
