I saw that you. I think pregnant women get baby booties rub them on thier bump and send them to ppl in ttc for good luck ?? I think anyways. If this pregnancy is sticky will send you ladies some hopefully you won't need them though!!!! Xx

Some say it has to be secondhand , the others say must have been used by a baby ( i thought that was second hand ) and then the other says one lady just sends it to the other and you put it under your pillow when bding

And i thought i would share , boots is doing a buy one get one free and first response tests So today i got 6 early tests for £10.49

Yes I think so too that yellow bootie exchange is when pregnant woman rubs the bump and then gives the booties to the one who is TTC.

Im going to baby shower next Saturday. There will be 2 pregnant girls. Im not brave enough to ask. So I just keep this to myself. I don't want people think of me as crazy ha ha.

Yeah i read that too thing is with old wifes tales there are loads of different versions , my friends nan actually gave me 10 pieces of silver you are supposed to put it under your bed in the middle for good luck

I got yellow booties from a lady on the site almost 2 years ago now, it was such a lovely thought, she also sent me a little card and a pregnancy test. I stil have them! Not brought me luck yet but still hoping..... maybe I should get them bac!k out

So GP confirmed my bloods are back. Receptionist said "they're normal - no further action" so I said what are they please? She's like oh I can't discuss them with you. I thought you were bloody qualified enough a minute ago!!!

Oh's still not in. He rang Lab and they said up to another 2 weeks. I actually don't think I can wait that long!!! You guys are more patient than me.

AF due tomorrow and getting cramps so she's deffo coming!

Bowen Therapy again Friday. Roll on next cycle...

What does everyone think about flying when ttc / when you could be early stages of pregnancy? I have to go to the Far East for a week in February... I'm hoping I'll be preggers. But if I am, should I go?

Morning girls

Had a very upsetting evening yesterday. Basically my friend told me that my problem is that I think about it too much. These thoughts are running in the background also the time. Therefore blocking new thoughts coming in.
I understand that but I really can't find the way to get rid of these thoughts. That's why people say that oh I got pregnant after that night we had sex in parents wardrobe. Cause for 5 min she was more worried being caught there rather than about her TTC issue.

So as I understand that it happens when the mind focuses on something else. For example, extreme skiing (I love that) or jumping of a plane.

This is so much harder than I thought. What do you think girls? x

Another example, when you are waiting for a phone call from your bf he never calls. The phone rings when you have forgotten about it. Stupid example but its true. I also heard that when we think about someone too much they don't think about us cause information/ thought channel is blocked by these uncontrollable thoughts.

Charlotte, honestly everytime I've got pregnant I've either been drunk, or had the mind of fuck it, i cba anymore. Mostly I've been drunk lol. I didn't drink for months before this pregnancy, then I was like no I'm having a drink and played games with hubby like shot chess. (I get really in the mood when I'm drunk) then things just happened, we enjoyed sex for the first time in months!
Iknow it isn't easy to not think about it, that's what I was like after my first mc. All I could think about was getting pregnant again, it took over my life. Xx

I think it depends on how you're thinking about it. If you're getting stressed it can increase cortisol hormones which hinder your progesterone production. So I can see why "don't think about it and it will happen" is an annoying but seemingly true sentence. But it can't be the only reason preventing pregnancy. Also they did an experiment on positive vibes. They took some pure water and wrote positive messages on half and wished good positive vibes at them before deep freezing. The other half they wrote negative messages and wished negative vibes towards them before deep freezing. I've attached some of the results as pictures speak louder than words.

So aim for a relaxed positive mental attitude?
