Still no names!!!

I am now 17&4 weeks pregnant and I still keep thinking I ve got plenty of time although we still have not got one name we like
It's so hard because all the names I do like the name is already taken or my husband teaches someone with that name and they are naughty etc
We have two children; Amelia and Max, they are both at school so they also know or don't like someone with whichever name I suggest
what a pain!!!! We all want to really love the name as this is our last baby plus I think a name is so important

what about making a name up out of ur two kids names that way it is unique and they will feel special that their little brother or sister is named after them

We have no name either! Can't agree on any and I'm still not 100% on the name OH loves. I also have a big family with many names taken. It's really hard x

i love to write and im trying to get published the good or bad advantage of this is the character list. i have a long list of names i love to use for characters and some turn out to be horrid characters so that puts me off some names and then others i love but cant pick which one to stick my child with for life. then there is OH he doesnt like any of the names i suggest

We found out on saturday that we're having a girl which is what we both hoped for however we could only agree on boys names and even had 2 we agreed on.

I've found girls so much harder, I like traditional names that will suit any age, wont date, wont embarrass the child as they go through life, aren't faddy, aren't cute and shorten well, lol, can you see why we struggle?!

So, what we've decided to do is use a name for a week or so when we talk about her, just drop it into conversation and see how we get on with it, this week she's Emma which I love but DH gives 6 out of 10, it can be easy to overthink names and so we hope that by using a name in everyday talk we'll get an idea whether we'd be happy to use it once she's here.x

Ailas hospital bands have baby nolan written on them because we still didnt know, you have PLENTY of time left .. the name we choose in the end was a name i had at the very beginning and went off for months! I do wish she had adifferent second name but cant change it now, dont feel you need to rush at all

Yeah i had about 3 names t choose from and cudnt decide until 3 hours after she was born lol x

Girls names are a nightmare to choose, only ever had one that felt right and I loved, and about 1000 i loved boys names! they are sooo easy... I have a Rhys (which is prob my most popular name in the end, a Toby, a Devon and a Briony , she the only one at school...

I have about 7/8 fav boys names ready if I get preg one last time, and 3 iffy girls names....
