someone please give me some advice :(

im currently 22 weeks pregnant, been having braxton hicks since 14/15 weeks this time around and on wednesday i started with period type pains at 4pm and at 10pm went to the toilet wiped myself and there was a big clump of jelly with brown/pink blood streaks through it. and then a few more smaller peices of it. straight away thought its my plug, so went to A+E they didnt do no tests or anything just said if i could feel baby moving then i was fine to go, however next morning i got somemore, so went back up again this time they just took swabs and said they would get back in touch if there was any infection or anything they would be back in touch and so far they havent. still getting the jelly now although without blood streaks getting pains still 2. what could be happening

You can lose plug at anytime and it grows back x try not to worry too much but if you are worried I'd suggest speaking to your midwife x

thankyou yes i read that, ive been loosing just clear jelly for around 3 weeks and its been every other day but then obviously this time its been different with the blood. thank you for your reply

I had this at the same stage as you, I went in, had an internal, had a swab taken, the doctor basically said that my membranes had ruptured so I leaked waters for a little while, but he said I had to rest and they would re form, so I dis just that and I'm fine. I was also told I would have a phonecall if try four anything, didn't have a phonecall. So asked GP and he said tests came back clear. Which was good, so you have nothing to worry about. It sounds exactly what I had to be honest, you'll be ok x

thankyou for your replys, the same day i posted i was back up at hospital with bright red bleeding, no one knows whats really going off but babys fine, im still loosing what appears to be my plug but not as much as before. and swabs came back clear too, just got to go through it all with my midwife when i next see her x
