I am so fed up of being overwight, not being able to keep up with Charlie and crying about it!
I need to do something but I really lack the motivation....cant even summon the energy to tackle the housework some evenings its that bad. I work full-time, spend most of the weekend doing washing and playing with DH and Charlie and then its back to the normal daily grind again of out of the house for 7.35am, drop Charlie at the Childminders, Pick him up at 5.30pm, Charlie;s bedtime routine at 7pm then knackered couch potato til bedtime at approx 10.30/11pm.
I just have no energy, no motivation and feel like its routine all the time and just want to cry :( . I saw my GP a few months ago and had a good sob with her and she said my main problem is that I dont drink enough fluids during the day and gave me a gentle telling off about it...I drink about 3-4 coffee;s a day, cannot stomach water and really hate the idea of drinking full stop so have to force myself half the time, strange to think that I craved water when I was pregnant and ate the healthiest I ever did...I craved wate/salad/fruit, etc...

Sorry to winge on....

I got some Slimming World books (the type that lists sins/red/green for all food items from supermarkets, etc) from a Freecycler a couple of weeks ago but dont know exactly how the plan works...how many sin, etc for someone 5ft 6 and weighing 14st 5lbs (I complain about my weight but I was over 15.5stone before I was pregnant with Charlie). Can anyone help with the Slimming World instructions at all?

I do Slimming World and have the books.. but dont go to the classes... If you read the books properly, it has everything in there that you need to know to get started!

Im a busy mum and work too... but am sooo determined to lose weight...you dont need to have a stressfree day to watch what you eat.. its hard.. noone is saying its easy.. but if you truely wanna lose weight, you will!

You say you have no motivation........ I think you do...... your little boy!!!

Good Luck!

I agree with Foxxi :)

I am on a diet, but a few months after having Daniel I kept saying that I was going on one, looked in the mirror, felt depressed about my weight gain, thought sod it and so ate more. My energy levels also took a nose dive, but since starting to lose a bit are slowly rising again.

Just try dieting for a week, try to be really strict with yourself, you may not notice a difference straight away but I am sure you will feel a little different and hopefully be motivated to continue.

Good luck hun and Foxxi, keep it up girl :D

Thanx Kaz...it is hard..very hard infact.. but my motivation is my little fella..

Its been 7 weeks Iv been doing it... and only now that Iv noticed any difference..I can actually sit down in my work trousers without undoing the button lol.

Thankyou chick..and good luck to you too.. its well worth it in the end!

All I can say - you can do it! If you really want something!

I started my diet and already lost a stone. (have to loose another 4  !)

Good luck hun!
