so fed up with people and their opinions :(

Yeah we get that about our home how it wont feel our home as the baby takes over, i got upset the other day that all people tell u is the bad tuff and hubby said its women all the men say its wonderful the best experience evet had anyone female said that to me? No!

Oh yeah that's so true! Dads always seem so proud to have a kid. Maybe all those negative women have their own reasons for their opinions, but it's so stupid to tell them to pregnant people!! It's like saying, oh happy birthday your one year closer to death! People need to look on the brighter side of life more often!! Xxx

I already have a daughter and I can tell you now that it's the best thing ever and the only way a baby would take over your house is if you let them! No your life won't be the same again-it'll be the start of a whole new life as a family rather than as a couple x x

I so regret discussing names with people as they think it gives them a divine right to thrust their opinions on you. Even though my mum "liked" oscar, she was forever suggesting alternatives.

we also have 4 girls and so many people were like "oh ian must be so glad its a boy" and "are you going to stop now you've got your boy?". Eeeeerm, none of your f@@king business!!

Personally the worst for me was "was it planned?". Just cos we ave 4 already, people presumed it was a mistake!!

A total stranger asked me on friday when i am due and if it is my 1st?
I stupidly told her it is my 4th and as she looked around at the girls she said "Oh I bet your looking for a boy this time. Wouldn't it be nice if you got a boy?"
I felt like punching her as she said it in front of my kids!!!:shock:
I said to her "No actually I'm looking for socks and it would be nice if its a boy but it would be nicer if people i don't even know would stop assuming that they know what I want"
I have had enough. :wall2::wall2::wall2:

LMAO Buttons. That is a brilliant reply!!! Very quick. x

Same principle with us NOT finding out the sex - and they really puch you for a 'better' answer than when you say "Oh, we just didn't want to find out" lol!

People always say stupid things! My Auntie told me i'd have my baby that night when she saw our 4D scan pics at 29 weeks saying he/she looked 'big enough' to be born now! I was like, yeah - they zoom in you idiot! She really pushed it too thinking she was right! I was like "look, if I do go into labour tonight i'll see you in the SCBU tomorrow then you insensitive cow!"

Oh this thread is great - it's exactly how I felt each pregnancy!

I had my first (a boy) then I had my second (a boy) , everyone would look into the pushchair and say oh I'm sorry, bet you wanted a girl. When two boys is lovely. When when I got pregnant with my third, I got 9 mths of " bet you want a girl then, so when we found out, we didn't tell anyone other than close family just to keep them guessing. Then as my kids are now older (11,9 and 8), with my MC pregnancy in march more , but still this time too- we have still only told our closer friends and my mum and sister, but the question is always was it planned !!! You can tell they don't believe me when I say most defineately!!! Soooo Annoying. Apparently - accoring to my mum - noone ever has 4 children and it is positivly excessive! (I always take things one step too far she says!)
