SMEP - who is using this/or has been sucessfull with this

Right I'm now on cd10 so am going to start using the ov kit. Am very excited as I creep forward to ovulation and I get to start poas - I'd started to miss it!! How's everyone else getting on? xxx

Witch got me today right on schedule! Pah! Got a very upset DH - he was really convinced this month.

Onto month 2 of smep though, and at least can enjoy a bit more rose vino in the sunshine (if it carries on anyway!). Cycle 7 after mc...

today day 13. not quite going to plan....

Day 12 -did an OPK - negative as expected but I didnt BD with hubby as he was away all day and night eeeeeek! will do it today - day 13 instead

Day 13 - didnt wake up to take temp today as didnt get home till 3am after a night out with the girls, woops, will still do an OPK as per SMEP.

oh jees, I really hope I havent messed up the SMEP this month as didnt get to BD this mont

Hey hun, I still think you're in with a really good chance. The theory of SMEP is simple enough but unfortunately life takes over sometimes. I think the important time is to BD on the day you get the positive opk and the two days after as the day you get the positive is your surge and you will ovulate 12-24 afterwards (I think that's right).

We've pretty much kept the every other day rule from cd8 and I'm now on cd11 so am looking forward to getting that smiley face!!

hey hun, i think your right. just did an OPK and there is a very faint line but as you know its not classed as positive till the line is as dark or darker than the control. Phew

so today is day 14, OPK had a faint line yday and again today, so think tomorrow it will be positive as started to get more CM. i swear time is going soooooooooooooooo slowly!!! this 2ww is going to be horrendous! how are all the other SMEPers this month doing??

Hey hun, I know I am counting down the days until I get a smiley face - god knows what I'll be like on my 2WW!! I reckon I'll get a smiley around Tues/Wed as I'm on cd12. The last couple of days we haven't stuck totally to the every other day rule as OH has been stressed and tired and I didn't want to put extra pressure on him. But I reckon from tonight we'll be back on the plan. Good luck hun, let us know when you get a positive and start your 2WW!! I'm still feeling really good about this month xxx

Keep it up girls!! My new thing this month is man vitamins for DH to add to SMEP. He has been surprisingly good about it.... CD3 now, so a little rest for this week before the fun begins. DH away early this week so works out well for once!

Hey I'm on cd 21, think I missed my surge as got a faint line Tuesday and a half decent line Wednesday but when I tested Thursday eve I got no line!!! But we still bedded every night from Tuesday til fri then we weren't meant to last night but we did oops!! Not sure whats happened but iv been getting the usual ov cramps so hopefully I did ov and would have got a strong line if I did test ow now I'm worried, does it still sound hopeful to u girls?? Xx

i knw where you are coming from, being so regimented about bding really does take the fun away a bit. hubby comes from work each night and is like "am i getting lucky now or not?" or "pants on or off?" at least we can laugh about it. To keep things from getting to boring i have dug out honeymoon and wedding lingerie which is working a treat! For us keeping the funny side is importamt. Funniest it for us is me trying to keep my legs up to keep "it" in after bding. hahahahaha good luck

CD 7 today

BD last night and will do every other night until that positive opk

I couldn't help but poas this morning. Opk one and had a faint line already??? Had a few tummy cramps too which I'm finding odd??
Was really hoping body was going to do a normal cycle this month but unsure now???
Just going to keep testing on the ov sticks and see what happens?

Hey ladies can I join u in this thread I think I am cd6 of a 28 or 30 day cycle. I usually have a regular irregular cycle, it alternates 28,30,28,30 etc! So not sure which cycle this one will be but goin to take the longest one at least until I get a pos opk and then I know it is roughly 2weeks. Never used opks before my mmc. So could be an interesting 1st month after mmc as I know I can be all over the place still. Xx
