She's been admitted :(

Hope u r both doing ok hun at least they r getting to the bottom of things now big hugs xxxx

Well they are looking after us here at least. Staff are really lovely and are feeding me and taking her so I can have a rest.

The nurse had just snorted when I said the consultant was concerned she couldn't see. He was trying to assess her when she was having a paddy. She said she is focusing on me so he's talking nonsense.

Another doctor is coming to assess her, they think she might have a cows milk allergy.

I want them to check her eyes out ASAP though now :(

Not surprised! I'm sure the nurses are right tho. Im glad your being looked after

Aw I hope ur ok honey Xx

Thinking of you both Hun. I hope they find out everything you need to know ASAP so you can enjoy your gorgeous baby girl!xx

How awful for you. Wishing you & Tilly all the best & keep us posted xx

Sending you big hugs, so glad they are finally taking you seriously and that you're both being looked after.

Lots of love to you both. It's not meant in a bad way but I think the screaming fit in front of the consultant was possibly a blessing in disguise - at least they are finally taking you seriously. Just annoying it had to come to this to get noticed!! When will these people realise that a mother's intuition is right 99% of the time!!! FX she gets the treatment she needs and you are home sooner rather than later.

Holy crap I hope you're both ok, thinking of you, big hugs xx

A cows milk allergy is manageable so maybe thats good news and im sure the nurses are right about her eyes. X

Awww I know exactly how you feel, we were in hospital with reflux too. I duno if i've missed something but did you just go because you were concerned & they mentioned her eyes?

I really hope it goes ok, at least on the plus side your getting fed, my hosp didn't give me so much as a bloody cup of tea.

Try not to worry too much, I know its hard but you'll be home soon.

xxxxxxxxxx

We came for our appointment with the consultant, it was moved forward to today. I was expecting some ranitidine and to be sent on our way!

The other consultant has been and said she won't follow things with her eyes at 6-7 weeks so it's too early for that?

She does look past your face sometimes which had concerned me. They are going to check her eyes when she is less grouchy

Albert looks past me too sometimes. Although they can focus both eyes at 6 weeks it's only at short distance, about 6-12 inches I think, and it takes lots of practise to strengthen the eyes to see further. At his 6 week check the gp checked his eyes for reactions did yours with Tilly? I'm sure if there was something immediately obvious they would have seen it?

Also don't forget you have a very head strong little girl and if she doesn't want to look at something I'm pretty sure nothing on this earth could make her!
