Day 15 of Down Reg

I cant believe how quickly the time has gone. Usually i find this the boring part, but it has flew by.

Still no dodgy side effects thankfully. Although i have been really tired. The last 2 days i've struggled to get out of bed! I didn't get up til 10am today and even then i had to force myself. I have also become very forgetful.

My scan is tomorrow. I really hope its ok and i can start stimming injections straight away. But i have this feeling the lining will be too thick and i will have to have AF before i can start. Maybe thats because i always think the worst, hopefully i will be wrong.

I keep thinking i may have ovulated. My temperature hasn't gone up much, but i had a lot of EWCM and my nipples have been super sore for the last few days. If i have then, my above fears will be true and stimming will be delayed

Baseline Scan

I think i am following in your footsteps chellie!! I have got to DR for an extra week.

The full story........
Had baseline scan this morning. Lining has thickened slightly and i have 2 large-ish cysts, 1 on each ovary. I've got to DR for another week and then have another scan. Also got to use a cyclogest pessary tonight and tomorrow morning to try to cause a small bleed. If the cysts are still there next week then i will have to have a blood test to check my estrogen levels. Dont know what happens then, i assume that i cant carry on if the cysts have not gone away.

I'm so frustrated, if they had listened to me in the 1st place and started my DR like the other clinic i wouldn't be in this position now. Now my lining is too thick to start anyway and the buserelin has caused cysts.

We are meant to be moving house mid july and i just know its going to end up clashing with this treatment.

Oh well, as long as it doesn't get cancelled its only a bit of extra DR!!

Oh Shell, I know exactly how you feel its so frustrating when things don't go to plan and you can see them starting to interfere with other plans. It must be even worse for as you had tried to tell them what works best for you

I hope the cyclogest works and the cysts visit along with the bleed.

I have used the last cyclogest this morning, so fingers crossed i get a bit of bleeding in the next couple of days.

I keep forgetting to come on here to update! I woke up this morning to a bit of bleeding. So the cyclogest worked. Its quite light though so i just hope it will be enough to have made a difference.

Just want it to be wednesday now so i can find out!

2nd Baseline Scan

Had 2nd baseline scan this morning. The bleeding i had was enough and my lining is now thin enough to continue. However the cysts are still there. They are smaller than last week and the nurse said that from the shape of them it seems that they are collapsing, which is good.

She said that i could start stimming now with the cysts, it just makes it complicated as you cant tell the difference between follicles and cysts. Or DR for another week and see if the shrink even more. She thinks the latter is the better option. However she said that they is a chance that the lining could thicken again, if that happens then the cycle will be cancelled and i will have to start again. I really hope not!

Got a prescription for some more buserelin, took it to the hospital pharmacy and there was a 45 minute wait after you handed the prescription in!!!! 45 minutes!!! I left it with them and said i'll collect it next week when i have my scan.

That sounds quite positive honey, hope the extra few days gets rid of those pesky cysts and that the lining stays nice and thin.

I've been getting these pulling pains for the last few days that i was getting before i found out about the cysts (like the feeling i get when stimming and the follicles are growing) so i'm expecting the worst. Anything better is then a bonus. Although as long as the lining is still thin i can still carry on with the cysts there.

I'm so worried it will get cancelled though.

I start stimming tonight!!!

Scan went really well. Lining still thin and cysts have disappeared.

1st scan is next wednesday and then another on Friday. I will be on a different dose to before. 2 powders (150iu) one day and then 1 powder (75iu) the next day and so on. They are hoping this will reduce the chance of me over stimulating and produce better quality eggs.
