Sex and IVF

Hi girls, I'm not sure if there's a thread for this already somewhere but what's the guidelines for sex whilst having IVF treatment? When you can and when you can't? X

I would ask your clinic - we were told that we could, but I know that others say not too or to make sure to use protection. It can be a bit uncomfortable though! x

Thanks hon. Will give the clinic a call. It's only been once so far, which was after OV but before taking DR spray. So I'm thinking that will be ok.

They said I couldn't start down regulation if had unprotected sex but if it was after ov then it would be fine. I assume its fine as long as you use protection xx

Hey hon, we were told we could have as long as it was protected and we really really wanted too lol but we are lame and we hate protected lol! and to be honest I felt quite bloated and uncomfortable prior to collection I dont think it would have been great x double check with your clinic as I know it varies from place to place x
