September 2017 mummies

Kumber I didn't realise til last night the mood swings and hormones were having a major effect! Hubby was really pissing me off last night over the stupidest things, then when i started shouting at him he was laughing away I could honestly have throttled him, instead I had a full scale meltdown and cried my heart out. Was then trying to wrap a birthday present up and he came through and apologised and asked if I needed any help while i'm standing there literally wrapped in tangles of goddam cello tape that was sticking everywhere but the paper, screaming no get to ****! Oops lol.

Get to ****, that has really tickled me! I've said that to hubby more than once this week  I think they're irritating us on purpose!

Oh I forgot to say, I'm August due now! But if you don't mind id like to stay in here heh, andd I won't get accurate due date until 12 week scan :P
I had 10 and a half hours sleep and ive woke up feeling like I need more aha. Ohh I feel sorry for our partners! He got home from work last night and woke me up from a nap, and I was such a grump. He made dinner and everything and got me ice cream so cheered me up heh xx

Oh please stay Ashleigh, you can join both threads, if you go overdue at all you'll be stuck with us anyway :)

Yes definitely grumpy hormones lol, in Scotland we use the word 'crabbit', hubby keeps warily asking 'are you crabbit today?do you need a nap/food?' Which makes me even worse lol! Yes Kumber I swear they are being muppets on purpose! He said to me the other day about finding out more about shared maternity leave from our employer, I contacted HR before and basically got ignored then 6 months later they sent me an email asking why they hadn't recieved my maternity forms, said he would contact them this time, leave it to him bla bla then I asked do you actually know what shared parental leave even is- didn't have a clue, has never researched it, just fancies some time off I think! Probably forgets there will be a baby to look after lol. Needless to say that didn't go down well either lol

Lmao Claire, he'll probably be asking to go back to work so he can have a rest aha. My hubby doesn't say anything until he sees what mood I'm in, if I'm a bitch hell stay quiet. Personally I don't think i ahve many mood swings, hubby seems to think different.
I think my MIL is excited, she came to scan with me yday (didn't come in room) but ever since she's been texting me ans asking me to go places, imagine when I'm nearly due! X

Aw that's nice that your MiL is there for you, My inlaws don't like me, not to be funny but I deffo think it's them lol every previous ex I've had has been gutted when I've split with their sons and tried to keep in touch with me! Hoping they will be a bit nicer and cause less drama when we have the baby, but I can't do right for doing wrong with them usually, I feel they favour hubby's sister and she has 3 kids so we'll see! Called doctors today to ask about an early scan, they said just phone EPU but EPU said they need doctor referral to even see me so back to square one lol called to ask for an appointment with a different GP so see where that gets me, my private 8 week scan will probably be here first right enough!

We looked into shared maternity leave but you can't have it at the same time, you finish your mat leave early and your partner takes over the rest of the time! Pointless.

ClaireDoll, you've been messed around a lot there! I hope you can get seen soon. When is your appointment with the new gp?

PB, do you want me to change your date at all?

I have no in laws, which I am abundantly thankful for. Hubby'smother is a complete psycho and his dad has a lot of issues. They're also back in NI which helps. We have my mom and she's been so helpful. Not sure she'll be impressed with this bump though!

Yah, can you just put me for the 1st please :p
Claire wtf, did you tell them you had recurrent miscarriges?? They supposed to book you in not your gp. Oh and also, at my midwife appointment last time, she said women with recurrent miscarriges are usually classed as high risk (I'm high risk for my weight aswell :/) so they should definitely want to scan you!!!
Kumber, I don't understand why parents don't like thier children having babies - my dads the same (when we told hIm with my 1st preg) it's not like they'll be looking after it or paying for it arghhh, it's your choice at the end of the day. Xx

I'll change you now chick. I think she's just concerned as our financial situation isn't great but we're getting by. Hoping it'll all change soon with jobs and whatnot. We're working hard to get things in place for it to work out anyway

They technically don't care/class me as being high risk as although I've had 3 miscarriages, only 1 is documented. Because they were all so early and I didn't have any complications, the first one I went to the doctor and he just said yeah sounds like you miscarried take a test in a week and if negative then fine, I was stupid enough to go along with it at the time as it wasn't planned and I didn't think about it properly, 2nd I spent the week in and out of a+e and EPU and the experience really put me off going when it happened the 3rd time so I didn't go to hospital with the third just the doctor, and there's no proof since they don't make you take a test to prove your pregnant if that makes sense?

3 of mine were early losses, but they still take it into consideration. I'd you were being referred to recurrent miscarriges clinic then they've counted.

Kumber oh, my dad's just not happy about having babies. It's not because im his daughter cos we're not close and have never been. Ugh. X

Ohh ladies, I've just come home and sobbed. I hate snow, I bumped into someone at 7mph with my kids in the car. I'm in so much pain from leftover SPD, I can hardly walk and I've gotta go back out twice today to pick up the kids and later the cat. Ohhhhhhh why today of all days?!?! Stupid snow. Stupid hormones!

Oh no kumber, no harm done, just take it easy and don't beat yourself up, I hate snow too it was a slip and slide all the way to work this morning, why is the uk always so unprepared for winter weather lol. What is SPD?

It's symphisis pubis disorder or pelvic girdle pain. I had it in both pregnancies and I had a lot of it left over from ds2 so driving become painful. I'm going to go and collapse into bed before I have to pick one of my cats up from her spay

Oh no kumber, hope your feeling betterms soon!!

Was my first day back at work after a week off, (subway) and I'm being such a bitch to everyone even customers... idk why, I only realise after I've done it aha. Luckily my boss doesn't care otherwise I'd get fired aha!
Anyone else like eating everything in sight?! Can't fill me up today, I woke up super hungry so had some cereal and went back to sleep, woke up 2 hours later my my belly hurts so bad from hunger, had some toast, then I got to work again belly hurting so went to the cafe for a sausage sandwich, which didn't even make me feel better, but was working again so just ate some crisps. Now I'm home with food in the oven! I'm gon a gain so much weight. I didn't even think you got really hungry until like 20+ weeks :/

Omg Ashleigh I'm totally the same, literally cannot fill up and I'm not usually that big an eater and very fussy. Last night I went to meet my friend, had a massive kfc bucket which I ate way more than my share of and was honestly still hungry after it. So bad! I bought loads of citrus fruits yesterday I'm craving that tangy sour taste, really wanted a grapefruit which I've never had in my life but loved it and just 'knew' I wanted it?! It was mental can't even explain it.

Kumber that sounds really horrible hope it eases for you and doesn't get worse! A wee nap is definitely called for!

Lmao, well we have an excuse! Kfc sounds amazing heh, going round MILs for tea tonight.. never fills me up tho so probably get a burger on the way home xD
I don't kno if my progesterone pessaries are making me sore or if i have thrush. Been burning all day ;( will wait till I see midwife though.

Cat is back from her spay and she's fine. I have my feet up, hubby has the dinner on. I can relax a bit now!
