Hi not been around we've just got back from Disney land Paris had such an amazing time. I'm completely shattered and managed to pick up a chest infection. My scans on the 1st march so not long to wait my partners convinced that we're having a girl but I'm convinced on another boy. Can't believe how quick tri 1 has gone not long until tri 2 xx

Sorry to hear that your sickness is still bad clairedoll! I suppose Drs are reluctant to prescribe anything unless it's classed as severe in their eyes. Not helpful for you though! Is it better some days than others? Hopefully it'll start to ease as the placenta is taking over fully. I'm very lucky in that I haven't been sick but felt very nauseous. I keep thinking it's improving then have a bad day. I'm 12 weeks so it should start getting better for you hun. Finger's crossed. Xx

So I officially belong in September babies now! Had my dating scan on Friday and my EDD is 3rd September for definite now. Had to complain to get a quick rescan for a decent image but very pleased with our scan pic now! We told everyone this weekend. Wow that was emotionally overwhelming!! Lovely though ☺ we have gone from owning no baby things to about 12 baby grows, a few hats and socks now lol. Telling work tomorrow... my headteacher is NOT the lovely, understanding kind. But my colleagues are, so I'll look forward to that! ��

So did we say week 13 is 2nd tri? Xx

If you're bleeding Elfs Mummy, can't you go to A&E? They would scan you then and there. I hope all is well xx

Has anyone stated to show yet? None of my jeans fit yet so I either use a hair band to make them bigger or wear my maternity jeans. I've been taking one picture a week and today's the first day I've noticed any sign of a bump and not just getting fatter.

I also noticed a change after getting back in my work uniform after the half term break. My stomach now hurts if I pull it in and I'm convinced people are going to notice now x

Yep I've got a bump but it's hidden under the fat so I've been able to hide it

I've definitely got a little bump beginning! Was convinced it was bloating but it never goes away and I cannot suck it in! Exciting to see �� I told work today though so no hiding needed really xx

Epu have said they won't scan me so no point if I was in pain I'd be worried but I'm not so hopefully all is ok.

This is getting ridiculous. Even colours are making want to heave?! I walked into my living room and because the curtains were closed and the light was on, the colour looked really weird, made my head go funny and my stomach went. Weirdest thing ever

Quick question - the 12 week scan, is it abdominal or TV?
Do I need a full bladder when I go in if it's abdominal?

My scan is tomorrow morning

It's abdominal and yes it's best with a full bladder x

Abdominal and full bladder, but not too full cus they can sometimes press down really hard. If you're desperate for a wee then you'll end up doing what I did with ds2 and wee yourself a little bit
