September 2017 mummies

Awh Kumber! That's what I'm worried about haha
Thanks guys :)

Does anyone else have a little 'pot belly' already?! I'm only 12 weeks but jeez, I look round in the tummy...

I defo have a little round belly, very noticable particularly if you know! I'm an 8 in tops so can it depend how you were to start with? I suppose everyone's body is different in pregnancy.

Also re the 12 week scan I tried to drink less as at my 10 week I was definitely too full... oops lol. The sonographer at my 12 week scan said if you are well hydrated throughout the day you don't really need to drink extra, just don't go for a wee beforehand. As that's two scans now where my bladder has been more than adequately full, I'm inclined to believe her!!

After a very scary day yesterday, with some bleeding..I had an unexpected first scan at the hospital emergency gynae unit and saw baby! and more importantly a heartbeat. wow what a relief. me, my partner and my little boy said a quick hello to baby number two and could leave a happy family.
Dated a few days further along than predicted, now at 11 weeks 6 days, due date 9th September.
Scan next Wednesday for nuchal tests but we won't be half as terrified which is a relief.

I hope your all doing well too and scans come quickly for you all, happy mum's and happy babes Xx

Had my dating scan on Wednesday, put forward a little bit so my due date is now the 10th of September :)

I got into lots of trouble for having an empty bladder at the scan - i'de drank a 330ml Capri Sun and a 500ml bottle of water an hour before, I swear my body is literally just absorbing anything I drink that I don't puke back up! She didn't believe me and was so rough with the scanner, I had horrible cramps all day and night afterwards. Baby was wriggling about stretching and pointing at toes and waving, it's got its hand at its face in one of the pics and it looks like it's foot is backwards in the other lol but it looked fine on the screen. Wouldn't budge when she wanted to do the behind the neck measurement, curled right up and wouldn't move its head lol I said to my husband it's definitely got his personality whether or not it's a boy!

I had my scan today and my due date was brought forward by 4 days, making it a whole week earlier than my LMP puts it at! Due date is now 2nd September!

Baby was scratching their face during the scan :)

Yay for happy scans ladies, so pleased for you all! I'm adjusting the front page as we speak :)

Sorry if this has been asked on here already, but when is everyone counting the second tri?
I always thought it was the 13th week, which for me starts tomorrow!

The last few days I have felt so much better; less waves of nausea, less exhaustion, less sadness/anxiety. It's been great!

I go on 13 weeks too. Has anyone started a new thread in tri 2 yet?

I haven't even thought about tri 2 yet. Scan in 1 week 6 days! Cannot wait!
Is anyone suffering with any back pain or similar? Had what feels like sciatica since last Sunday. Was okay at first but has got progressively worse, was limping around the office at work yesterday!

Off to purchase my first baby items today. Lady on Facebook is selling the Peter Rabbit Noah pod that I have wanted since before I was pregnant but now isn't available from mothercare, she's selling it in immaculate condition along with an ingenuity swing for £50. Would have cost over £200 for both so I'm chuffed to bits with that wee bargain

I have, since about 7 weeks or so. It's actually gotten better the more I move around and since my bf bought me a pregnancy pillow! My job role at work has now changed to a desk job where I sti down for 8 hours a day, which has made it so much worse!

Keep moving, get a pregnancy pillow, and use warm hot water bottles in the evening :)

12 weeks today I'll move over to tri 2 after my scan on Wednesday. I bought a babygrow today we don't really need anything with c being 7 months we still have everything x

Thanks for the tips firstfreakout, will give them a go!
