I'm feeling much brighter thank you MrsDuckie, while I still feel a little drained and weary, I'm feeling less nauseous and emotional! I have my booking in appointment next Monday at the hospital so there's that and the first scan to look forward to Xx

I've herd so many different weeks are the start of your second tri... when does it actually begin? I've always thought the 12th week is the last week of the first trimester? X

Have my dating scan on thruday and my consultant meeting on Friday (high risk, idk what to expect?) And we're moving house on Saturday (finally found a place! It's lovely, glad we was rejected lots heh) so busy week for me so might not be on alot!
Also my sickness is back and I think I'm getting yet another cold!!! Lol x

So the sickness has landed full force feel awful my 3yr old just wants me to play all day I am laid on the sofa wanting 5.30pm to come so quick so husband comes home to play. Of course she wants to play picnics so shes put all this wooden food infront of me well even this wooden pizza is making me heave

Hi all, just checking in. Feeling a lot less nauseous and not been as sick today, don't want to jinx it but feeling much better, hoping it lasts. Typical, got doctor today as well! He will think I'm at it!

For anyone else struggling with swallowing pills while having morning sickness, I ordered prenatal gummies off of amazon, they came from America. You eat two a day, they are just like little pastille fruit gummies, so much easier to take and are lemon flavour, so far so good at least they are staying down! My main worry was the pills were coming straight back up!

I was the same when I was sick, threw up after taking my aspirin and was so worried I didn't get enough in me!!
Are you still taking aspirin? If you are have they told you when you should stop? My midwife didn't know :/ xx

I have still been taking the aspirin but it comes straight back up, they didn't tell me when to start or stop taking it, my midwife said to ask Epu, they said to ask doctor, who told me I didn't need to take it and seemed to be under the impression it was for pre eclampsia :/ as much as I've read online, it seems to be to improve blood flow to placenta so I'm going to keep taking it especially now as placenta should be on its way to taking over completely.

urghh got some sort of throat virus which is agony, I seem to take a turn for the worse in the evenings and throughout the night..croakiest voice ever, it's so swollen which feels like glass. coupled with a very awful cough which makes me gag and be sick because of the nausea.
Trying to drink lots of orange juice for the vitamin C and keep having small and often meals still.
Lemsip is alright to have isn't it? as it's paracetamol with just honey and lemon Xx

Yeah I think lemsip is fine. Try taking an extra vitamin c tablet, I take 1000mg lol. Suck on boiled sweets, they keep my throat moist so doesn't dry out x

Definitely spoke to soon, I just tried to force a baked potato for lunch and didn't even make it to the bathroom to spew, so then I had to try and clean my carpet while my dog thought it was his lunch which was making me even more sick. Urge I just want to cry today.

Doctor was hopeless yesterday just said they aren't willing to prescribe me any anti sickness and to keep on as I'm nearly at end of first tri... I'm only 10 weeks! Refused to test my urine sample even though I am clearly so so dehydrated, she clocked my sports bottle that I take everywhere and just said oh just keep taking sips of water. I'm starting to resemble the joker my mouth is so dry and cracked at the edges. I feel like they just actually want you to suffer! The

Hi everyone, how are you all? Hopefully sickness is easing for you and all scans are going well.

Not a whole lot going on here, kept busy with life but queasiness seems to be improving. Still worried about the scan but 2 weeks to go and we'll see our baby. Crossing everything that they're ok in there!
