** September 2014 Mummies! **

Oh dear Nic hope you're ok. Bet it will seem very strange at home without him for a while but at least there won't be any more times when you feel like treating your hair out over his tragedy antics :'( x

i know i'll be so grateful for that, hopefully i can stop stressing out and getting upset now.

well i'm sure i'll still be getting upset, when i don't walk in to a dog wagging his tail. ah i'm gutted, we both are, keep crying but he's gone to a great home i can tell! xx

Ah Nic bless you, it will be awful for a while and will definitely take a while to get used to but you know you've done the right thing and hopefully he will be very happy in his new home xx

i know, i feel awful even more so for OH.
but i know he's gonna love it there! xxx

Awww nic. At least you can rest easy knowing he's gone to a good home though. Hope both you and your OH are feeling ok soon xx Big Hugs xx :) :)

thank you girls.
dunno what i'd do without you all, always so lovely and helpful with everything!

we've just had a chinese takeaway to try cheer us up, and watched new big bang theory.. seems to have worked, for now. i. am. stuffed! xxx

Aww sorry Nic :( at least you know he has gone to a good home though xx

definitely.

uh, kicks to the cervix.. definitely hadn't missed those !

Bless, glad hes gone to a lovely home, and hope you and OH recover from the grief quickly, its not fun.

We've just been out for chinese too, absolutely nothing to eat in the house so we 'had no choice'!!
Lol, yeah kicks to the cervix dont feel nice atall haha. I was getting a right walloping last night, the big kicks have come on so fast, I really miss the small cutesy ones that are just like little prods!

Ahh was just trying to explain them to my oh lol...i.also get kicked in the bum too haha xx

thank you.

hahaha! yes mine are ever so slightly stronger now.
they really catch me off guard lol! xx

Is anyone else getting strong braxton hicks? Mines have been so uncomfy tonight xx

gr my gp surgery is utter crap!
you have to call at 8:15am on the day to get an appt, the line is busy until 8:25 then when you do get through the appts are all gone anyway!

i got a dr to call me back, he asked for symptoms let me say one thing then told me there was lots of different reason for this and i would need to see the nurse for swabs.. ok no problem.. except the next appt is 22nd may.. which i can't even have off.. so i asked for the following thursday, my birthday!, no appts available. ffs i just told her to cancel it - i cant wait two weeks for just an appointment then have to wait for results and a decision from the dr. i can't get out of work because we are so understaffed and busy at the moment. i have taken today off, unpaid, in the hopes i could be seen. what am i meant to do?! pathetic x

Grrrr thats so annoying Nicole! I would get hold of your midwife, seeing as infections are taken quite seriously, she might be able to get a better response than you. Fingers crossed it does away by itself! You could always try using natural yoghurt lol!

Sarah, I had one REALLY strong braxton hicks in the middle of the night a few weeks ago, weirdest feeling ever as this is my first pregnancy and I had no idea what it would feel like!

I can't say I've had any Brixton hicks yet, but I do get a heavy feeling every so often which is very strange.

Nic, your doctors are rubbish :( seems stupid they can't get you in quicker than that. It's not like you need to be there for long to get any swabs. Maybe phone your midwife and see if she can do any swabs for you instead, or give you some advice on what to do.

I'm feeling pretty rubbish again today and phoned in sick for work tonight. Not the best timing as I have so much to sort out and do over the next few days. Another Disney sofa day for me and Harry. So far we have watched Pocahontas, The Lion King 1, 2 and 3, thinking of maybe the aristocats today and frozen if I can find it on DH's computer xx

Aww ive had loads but last nights ones were the worst! Was so sore and uncomfy. Made me panic a bit xx

Nic - your docs sound rubbish. I know most GP surgeries aren't great, mine included, but if it was an emergency they usually do try to fit you in at some point. I would most likely go down there and sit until someone saw me!
Sorry to hear about your doggy. I hope you're not upset for too long chick xx

Kanga - sorry to hear you've been poorly too! Hope you're on the mend hun.

No braxton hicks for me yet, although I didn't have any (that I noticed) when pregnant with dd so I'm not expecting them this time! I have had a lot more movements the past day or so though. I've been waiting for them to really kick in (excuse the pun!) due to anterior placenta this time, and it's like BAM! All of a sudden this little one can't keep still ha ha! I love it though.

Busy couple of days at work, meaning a few rushes to get on the train home etc. Not nice. Although I did have a nice lady give me her seat yesterday :-)
