** September 2014 Mummies! **

The last bit of tri 3 does drag a little bit, but only because you get so so impatient waiting for baby's arrival :)

I've not had any nesting instinct kick in yet, other than already having most stuff stored away from having Harry. We bought Harry his toddler bed yesterday off eBay, a massive bargain at £1.70 :) with a brand new mattress. It would have cost us over £130 new. We just have to drive about 45 mins to go collect it. Getting Harry ready for a big boy bedroom is our main plan, but no decorating is going to happen as we are unsure as to how long we are staying here yet xx

Wow that is one hell of a bargain!!! Good Job!

NDS, glad you're pretty much ready, im not ready atall but seeing as this is my first I think it would be hard to be totally ready because I just dont know what to expect.

Think thats why im going so mad on the house because atleast I know I can get that bit readier! x

ClimbingRose, I think it all just starts coming together in the last few weeks really. I didn't start doing any big jobs in the house until I went on maternity leave at 32 weeks. I had to move furniture, put stuff in the loft, chuck things out, lay carpets, paint, the lot lol

We are only getting stuff ready for Harry now, because we want to get him used to a bed rather than a cot before baby comes. Don't want him to think baby is taking all his stuff from him. Plus we have his birthday to sort out in July before going baby mad. We only really need to get a new car seat for baby, and a buggy board for Harry and that's about it. I want a moby wrap and a breastfedding pillow too, but no rushes to buy those just yet xx

Love that bed kanga! We have taken the side off dd's cotbed last week, and she's doing much better in it than I thought. We have that plan too - get her used to a big girl room! Once we've moved we will swap her into a toddler bed. No point getting one just yet as nowhere but the loft to put the cot, so waiting to just put it straight in the new nursery :-)

I want to nest too!!! But until we move there's not much I can do. Concentrating on dd's birthday party (a week today) then a hen weekend I have organised from my best friend in a few weeks, then hopefully moving day should arrive quickly!

kanga, 1.70!!! wow! that is amazing.

some nice things coming up for you then crackers, hopefully go quickly for you!

same here climbingrose, i've no idea what to expect .. after birth. i never brought ella home so i don't know what i will and won't use or like etc, so i'm just being prepared, mainly so i stay in the mindset of this baby will be alright and come home with me! xxx

Wow Kanga, didnt you feel tired?! Im getting exhausted now doing stuff :( Hoping that pre-baby nesting energy will kick in nearer the end and I'll manage to get everything ready. The house we are in is in such a bad state, feels like I'll never get on top of it.. its a rental too, I want to move so badly, but have decided its best to just wait till baby comes now and re-evaluate our situation then!

Crackers, does sound like you've got an enjoyable couple of weeks ahead, good luck with the move, I actually love moving house!

Aww Nic, sending you a big hug, I really cant imagine what that must be like, I am really looking forward to you taking this little baby home and enjoying getting to be a mummy properly even though I dont know you! xx

I don't know where my energy came from lol Think nesting just took over :)

Crackers can't believe you will have a 2 year old next week! But sounds like you have a busy few weeks ahead.

Nic I can't wait for you to bring home baby too. Even I don't kniw what I will need for baby and already had harry. We had a swing but harry hated it, but the new baby might love it as they are all different xx

Me neither!!! It's crazy. Although very cute that as soon as she sees a balloon or something (which I've hidden!) she runs around saying "party party!" I think she's a little excited

Nic this baby is coming home with you honey xxxx big hugs xxxx

climbingrose - I'm dreading moving! We've lived here for 5 years, first house we bought together and have literally gutted it and re-done everything. I love it, but it's just too small for a family. I've cried already at the thought of leaving it lol! Xx

Well I've hit that magic 24 weeks today. Can't believe how quick this is all going !

Hello everyone! :) how is everyone feeling? cant believe how quick the time is going!

Mooorning ladies! Thought I'd poke my head in today and say hi, been so busy with work and stuff at home that the weeks are flying by :) In such a fantastic mood today, last night my OH felt little girl kick for the first time (anterior placenta, so I've only just started feeling definite movements). Never seen a smile like it :)
Time really is flying though, a matter of weeks and we're all off to tri 3! x

Aww that's such fab news!!! Yaaaaaay, bet it's a wonderful feeling xx

Happy V Day Julie!

Don't Panic - my hubby felt baby kick for the first time last night too, must have been a active baby day! Other times I'd tell him to put his hand on my stomach and baby instantly stopped so think he was starting to worry baby didn't like him lol! He was chuffed to finally feel it himself. My scan showed an anterior placenta too so it's lovely gradually feeling more and more definite movements isnt' it?! x

Ah how lovely, I've an anterior placenta and still only feel either a pressure on my right when she's pushing down or the odd pop, not felt any movements really :(

Waiting impatiently for 20 week scan. I have felt very little movement vicky, but not sure if there's a reason. It's so busy here I know I'll be waiting ages...

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been AWOL.....again. Been full of busy decorating and stuff...it was my little girls birthday on Saturday too, so my girls are both 9 for 3 weeks now :) they love this part of the year when they confuse people by saying no were not twins but were both the same age lol.

How's everyone doing? All ok I hope.
I'm feeling lots of lots of kicks now from my little lady. Such a lovely feeling :)

How's your puppy nic? Is he still being naughty? Perdys being an absolute nightmare at the minute...literally waking the whole house up just running all over the place at daft o clock in the morning. *Sigh*.
Is anyone else feeling really huge? I'm starting to feel like Michelin woman over here. The joys haha xx

Hi All.

Hope you are all well.

Anyone really beginning to feel baby yet? my little munchkin is a wriggler at times. xx

Yeah loch....my little one is a little wriggler too. At my scan they said she was a live wire lol x

It feels weird and lovely all at the same time when she starts wiggling the hiccups is the worst its such a strange feeling. xx
