Phew - what a day, glad it's behind me
Saw the fertility consultant whose exact words were "It'd be a miracle if you ever conceive naturally" which was like a kick in the gut.
I know that i "knew" that already, but the GP had left hubby with the impression it was not good, not bad so there was a thought in the back of my mind that maybe i was blowing it out of proportion.
It was still shocking so within 2 minutes of getting through the door i was doing that deep nose breathing which would have been a sob if it came out of my mouth.
The good news was that i was "perfect" regarding my uterus and ovaries
We talked about funding and he said that the nhs would definately give funding if we are entitled to it based on our tests to date and he even said that he could chase it for me and should have it within a couple of weeks
Then he said that we need me to be on cd21... and we can start
I could be pregnant in 6 weeks!
Well, in theory anyway.
In the meantime hubby is recommended to have yet another semen analysis, which kind of implies to me just how bad the reading was if they are hoping for some kind of improvement before treatment starts.
We can just pick a cycle when we feel is convenient to start, is that crazy or what
