Seeya soon!

I think it's important to look at the positives of your situation, and that's that you are in perfect health to have a healthy pregnancy.

Am I right in assuming things would be a lot harder if you had female factor infertility? Or even worse you could have male and female factor infertility.

You could take a step back and just wait, or you could find out how many files the doctor is able to process in a day and find out exactly where you are in the queue. I don't think that would be an unreasonable request...

What F******g annoys me in about the NHS is they think that because they offer a free service they don't need to provide patient satisfaction, but for F***s sake how much tax did your household pay last year??? I know we paid enough to pay a few doctors salarys!!
And think of the money that people that don't even pay tax cost the NHS through self inflicted illnesses like obesity, drug and alcohol abuse and smoking related diseases, not saying that everyone that doesn't pay tax is like that but the statistics show significant links.

Shall I ring for you and have a rant lol!! Grrrrrr!!:roll:

xx

Well Louise i have to say your doctors are the absolute pits! I think its disgusting that they seem to be getting away with treating you like you like this. I really hope things start to come good for you asap.

I wouldnt worry about being here on your own a few months down the line because im sure you wont, im giving it a rest till at least August so i will defo be here a little while longer :friends:

I know it easier said that done but try and keep positive and just think of the future when you will be knee deep in nappies, baby grows and enjoying your first glass of vino!

Take care hunni

My dear Louise, just looked at this post just now.

So sorry to hear the NHS as per usual are taking so long. Doesn't it make you feel like you just want to put on a balaclarva and take a little torch and sneek in at night, find your file and place it on his keyboard at his desk for him to see in the morning with a note saying 'read me'!!!

Sounds like that's what it takes to be seen these days.

In all seriousness I do hope things suddenly swing round for the better for you soon.

Thinking of you Louise xx

Sorry Louise, it's just not fair.

Just try to remember that it WILL happen and when it does, your baby will be all the more special because of how long you waited.

Just imagine a time when you and your hubby will be telling you little one just how much you wanted them and how long you waited,

My dad always tells me a story about how he "held me in his hand and how small I was". Your story will be about all the calls you made, the wait you had and how excited you were when you found out you were expecting. It will make a lovely story.

I hope I haven't offended as I know I am new here but I imagine the story we will tell ours - about how much we wanted them - and I imagine them smiling like I do when my dad tells his story.

It WILL happen, hang in there xx

Thanks for all the really nice messages ladies

I just spoke to the doctors receptionist and thankfully she spoke to me like a human being this time and was really nice, but it's still bad news.

Apparently he doesn't just have to sign, he has to dictate and then it needs to be typed and then it needs to be signed.

She said they have a new system so she is behind anyway and all the phonecalls she is getting from several women phoning to push referrals and it's getting rediculous so she is going to have words with him tomorrow.

I'm going to phone again next Friday just to keep on top of it but my gut is that i won't have an update for a couple of weeks...

I'm going to take the advice and take some time off from the forum.

Bead and Kerrieanne - i will have my fingers crossed for you.

And i hope none of you ladies are still stuck in ttc when i get back ;)

Take care Hun, we'll miss you.

FX you get some news ASAP.

xx

Awww Lou I'm so sorry!

I understand you wanting to take time out and I hope you come back with better news too.

Gunna miss you :(

Sorry I was so long in replying to ur thread. I havnt been on here much myself xxx

I'll miss you Louise. I really hope it all moves on quicker than you think. I look forward to seeing you back with all the details of your treatment when it starts.

I will track you down if I don't hear from you! ;)

Hope you're ok.:hugs:

xxxx

Shocking that they think it's ok to keep people waiting like this!
Hang in there Louise, be strong, sending you big hugs xxx

Only just read this, wishing you lots of luck and love Louise, and looking forward to you returning, I wish I could say something to make it all happen quickly for you, but I want you to know you will be missed and I for one will be adding you to my prayer list xx

Louise, maybe some time out will help, I wish the best of luck with everything, thanks for your advice over the last month or so xxxx :)

hi louise have just read this post..........i think it totally sucks arse that its taking so long for you.....fx that while you take time out from here you will be feeling more possitive about things and you will have gotten some better news...........sending you big ((((((((hugs)))))))) and lots of love xxxxxxxxx

I have been away, just caught up with everything!!

The whole situation sucks hun and I can completely understand your frustrations, I hope it all gets sorted for you soon and your back here with some better news xx

Louise I know you are taking a break but just in case you sneak back on......

Write a letter to the hospital explaining the situation and giving dates/times of phone calls made and replies given. Make sure they realise this is not a letter of complaint but a need to know a time scale. Request that they tell you when your file is scheduled to be reviewed and when you should recieve a letter.

The HAVE to reply with your request.

I think it's totally disgusting the way you've been treated. If I win mega millions on the Euro millions I'm going to build a PF fertility clininc for us all!!!

Ok... so that was only a couple of days so pretend i'm not really here because i'm not back yet :shakehead:

I just wanted to thank all you lovely ladies for your sweet messages :)

Oh, and an update!

My referral is now in the post, so should be at the clinic next Tuesday/Wednesday

However, to see the doctor will definately not be until August as they are booked until end of July...

BUT! I think i might have blagged my way out of having to see the doctor at all :good:

Will find out once my referral is there - wish me luck again ;)
