Safe to use bath products?

Juat wondered when I can use bubble bath etc? It's been two weeks and a day since birth, I have not used any as of yet due to stitches and thought it would be painful?
Obviously I have washed with soap but plain bath water, thoughts?

I personally waited 6 weeks and even 3 months later Tyler has reacted to johnsons and I have to use aqerious (sp?) cream

Do you mean for yourself rather than baby? If you then use a mild one or use lavender and milk mixed. I used baby bath a few days after in my bath as its mild and some adult bath foam can be too perfumed x

Yeah for me, baby didn't have stitches :-D

Badedas (not sure of spelling) bath stuff was recommended to me. The chestnut in it is supposed to be good for stitches
