Just needed a moan ladies.

My day started out quite nicely, I got up, had 2 (yes 2, what?!) Cheese and ham toasties for breakfast and went to a morning photoshoot, which was great fun!

Got home, and spoke to a girl who was selling her swinging crib on gumtree, so hubby and I went for a drive to where she lives, and the crib is lush, so we bought it - £20!!!!!!! Absolute bargain!! Delighted!!

Come home and have a bit of lunch and put on a load of washing, then me and hubby decide we'll go into town and have a look around at more baby stuff.
But in the meantime, I go to look at the crib again, and 1 of the screws is loose (the seller did tell us this, its just a matter of replacing it) and hubby comes into the nursery yelling at me to leave it alone! Literally yelling. What's that about?!
So I'm like 'no! I bought it for my child, if I want to look at it, play with it, or sleep in it, I damn well will'
So he starts this massive huff session and storms out shouting he's off to town alone cuz I'll only annoy him if I go!

So I hung the washing up and left too, I'm not sitting around awaiting his majesty's return!!
So I'm currently sitting in a cafe. I've been gone for 2hrs and I'm determined not to be home before him. I could sit here all damn evening if that's what it takes lol.
And LO is so on my side, she's wriggling and making me smile lol.

What a dick though?! There was no need for that carry on!! Idiot.

Just needed a rant lol. Thanks for listening :) xx

Sounds like me and my oh when we have a falling out lol, its like let's see who apologises first! Seriously though, was he maybe concerned u may hurt yourself, or was he just having a twat moment lol xxxx

Oh bless you sweetie:hugs:

Clearly there must be something more to it from his side.... it was out of order for him to shout at you for no apparent reason!! Hopefully he will come home and explain why he was being less than pleasent!!

As for the cheese and ham toasties.... why the hell not eh? We only have 12 (+2) weeks to go!! xx

This sounds like my dh, he'd go totally mental at me and shout enough to make me really upset, then later explain that he just didn't want such-and-such to happen and it turns out to just be really protective. But he's totally useless at expressing himself!

Jayjay, hope he apologises! xx

Well I've come home now, and he was home before me. And now we're sitting here in silence, but I'm not breaking the silence! I did nothing wrong.

Normally, if he's worried about me hurting myself, he'll say 'oh I'm worried u might hurt urself' and that's fine.
But he came into the nursery and said 'what r u doing? Just leave it alone! Why do u feel the need to play with it?' And I said 'I'm just checking this screw out so we can get a replacement while we're out' and he's like 'we don't have to get it today, what's the hurry? Why won't u just leave it?' But this was in such an angry tone!!

He was just being a ******* and there's no excuse for that!!

Blah! I'm totally fine now. But just not speaking to him lol x

You're right, no excuse. Let him sweat it out lol xxxx

Sounds really odd of him to do that. You didn't even do anything wrong :/ Strange. Maybe hes just having a bad day :(

lol this made me laugh sorry x

Would it be awful of me if I got up and made myself dinner and made none for him? Lol.
Its an open plan kitchen and living room so he'll see that I'm only making dinner for myself.
I'm so tempted lol x

Why do they have to be such dicks. My oh is the same stupid out bursts for no reason and if you are feeling low it can make you feel even worse, I try to be strong like you.

oh hunni, he is so in the wrong and yeah make him make his own tea lol x x x

Hope he has apologised by now! Thought only us pregnant women had the hormornal outbursts lol xxx

Lol I got up to make myself some dinner, and when I looked in the fridge there was 2 cartons of my special dairy free milk in there, and a box of bran flakes in the cupboard. He bought them for me while he was out lol.

So I made him dinner too. Still didn't say a word to him, and after we'd finished, he did the washing up. Then when he was done, he sat next to me and said 'I hope u enjoy ur bran flakes and rice dream' so I said 'is that ur way of apologising?' And he said 'no, I'm just saying. Because I know u love bran flakes and didn't have any left so I bought it for u'
But he's been chatting away to me ever since. He even thanked me for buying a changing mat today.

Doesn't look like I'm getting an apology though. Douchebag xx

I think they like to be the ones doing the handy stuff as my oh was stroppy when I started putting my ds's cot together and in the end he helped. He was gettig stroppy about decorating our ds's room as I wanted it done before the baby arrives but due to our tv breaking I said to him I understand I we can't do it although I'd like to try and he told me to order the wallpaper for the feature wall so it's here for when we can do it!

at least he thought about you hunni, it means he does care just a typical male that wont say sorry, he might do later x x x

my oh is like that will do nice things for you but wont just come out and say sorry :wall2: men !

Weird behaviour. I completely agree with you, he was out of line. Karate Kid is right, there must be some deeper reason for it. I got busted making the cot the other day which my hubby didn't understand why I wanted to. Turns out actually having the cot made was too 'real' for him.

Men can be doofuses plain and simple, can't live with them, can't shoot them :D xx

my OH is actually the opposite he has helped with everything and also will say sorry when he is in the wrong, its me that wont say sorry x x x

Lol well whatever his problem was, its gone now.

He told me he was in mothercare today looking for bedding. He didn't buy any though, but I thought it best not to bitch at him about it lol.

He's being nice to me now anyways.

Thanks so much for helping me have a moan ladies lol x
