Positive opk 13dpo?

I know you shouldn’t use opks as pregnancy tests.. but the only test I have is a clear blue digi weeks and don’t want to have wasted it if it turns out negative! (Plus could be too early?)

So I’m just feeding my need to poas with cheapie opks.. it worked last time I was pregnant before miscarriage but I was already a few days late for af! And had a blazing positive the day before I was able to get an actual pregnancy test.

So wondering has anyone ever got a positive opk on 13dpo and not been pregnant?

For me at this time in my cycle when I’ve tested before opks are usually incredibly faint.. so feeling a tiny bit hopeful but also scared it’s nothing!

Could you be ovulating later than you thought? Sometimes I get lots of Ewcm and think I’m ovulating and then later in the cycle I get more Ewcm and ovulate then! Are u temping? If I were you I’d get bding just incase!

I’ve read that opks can take much long to show a positive for pregnancy but I may be wrong. The ttc journey is very confusing!

I had a positive opk around that time when I got pregnant. Had already got a positive preg test but got that very early with FRER ( around 8 dpo ) and the opk was positive a few days later.

I know you don't want to get your hopes up but it does sound positive. If you are quite sure you have ovulated then the only way of getting a positive at 13dpo would be pregnancy I assume.

Yes I’m very sure I’ve ovulated already, I don’t temp but I use clear blue digi opks.

It’s been an odd cycle from start until now.. AF was short and very light and then I got a peak opk result a few days earlier than the last few cycles.


Just have to wait and see af doesn’t come.. I’m not brave enough to go buy a test now lol
The only real symptoms I’ve had could just be af.. or just in my head. I hate ttc!

I'm crossing my fingers for you!

I had an LH surge last month too right before my period started. I got my hopes up for nothing and was told that it's normal to have the lutenizing hormone right before your period. BUT I know some girls have also had a positive PT soon after the positive OT, I just wouldn't rely too much on them as an indicator for pregnancy. The worst thing is getting your hopes up!

I know how hard it is to TTC. I know this is my second pregnancy but we tried for about 3 years for our first and had so many tests and IVF.

Other people fall pregnant so easily and its not really fair. For example my sister got pregnant FIRST months on both her pregnancies! Thank god I finally got pregnant before she started trying, not sure I would have coped otherwise.. Even though I finally managed to conceive I almost got a little annoyed when she said she was pregnant so quickly.. Sounds horrible but she has absolutely no idea how hard it is and she was just so relaxed about the whole thing..

I know what your mean about being scared to buy preg test. Its so disappointing to see a negative test and better still have the hope.

I had some symptoms before positive test with my first pregnancy but none with this so I think it can vary.

With my chemical pregnancy I had a blazing positive opk at 11dpo, it's what made me use a frer, also lovely line but unfortunately ended at 4.4 weeks, nearly 2yrs later and still no luck ��, I'm a bit too old now, 46 in August and think I am peri-menopausal now. I really hope its good news for you Millie. xx
