positive OPK but its AF time!!

i was desperate yesterday to POAS so used an OPK instead of using an actual pregnancy test, anyway it was positive, both lines were exactly the same darkness

i then got excited and tested with a pregnancy test and it was negative!

what is going on? i know my AF is due now, iv had cramps like shes on her way and my nipples have never been so sore!!!

thats really puzzling hun...

OPK's definately pick up pregnancy hormone hcg...dont want to get your hopes up but maybe, just maybe the pregnancy test you used only picks up higher levels of hcg, where-as the OPK might be more sensitive and have picked it up??

Ooooooo hope its a BFP!!!!!!!!!
