I've got really sharp pains, sort of behind my left hip. It's like a really strong stabbing. Not constantly, but sort of every few minutes for the past 10 minutes or so. Is this normal? I phoned my mum and she said not to worry, that if something was wrong cramps would be a lot stronger, and not in that position. But I'm still a bit worried!!! Anyone else had this? I'm 13 weeks, saw baby on Tuesday and everything was fine. Thought I'd stop worrying now..obvs not!:wall2:

I'm getting all sorts of pains, but as they come and go I think it's nerves being squished by LO. Apparently the sciatic nerve (which I tend to suffer with anyway), often gets in the baby's way and can cause pains in lower back/hip/leg etc x

I would say it sounds quite normal stretching pains, but If your worried might be worth juist running it by your midwife if you can , hope it goes soon X

I'm still getting twinges and pains now Hun!! Totally normal as long as your not bleeding. Like jj mum said if concerned contact M/W x x

I get the odd twinge even now like the other said if you have any concerns contact your MW :)

I have got this right this moment tbh and it's killing me, I just try not to worry if it gets any worse though I would say ring anti natal at your hospital and see what they say x

Sounds like siatica pain, I had it quite bad on dd and have had it a few times on the pg too!
