ovulation test query

When you get a positive on an ov test, does that mean you will ovulate within 24-48 hours? or that your ovulating that day?

I think it means that you will ov in the nest 24-36 hours but hopefully another one of the ladies can give you a definate answer xx

I think that's right Chelly. I used OPK sticks for the first time this month. Got a positive at 7pm one evening and then ovulation pains the next day.

Would be interesting to know, I'm sure I read that it can be 24 - 48 hours until ovulation after a positive test,

I always thought it was positive 24-36 hours before ovulating but with this pregnancy we had sex 4 days before my positive ovulation stick! I think we were just very lucky that month! Good luck ladies
