OUR Positives!!!

Lainey - that's fab news on the job! Good days all round girls!

My positives from today (is it sad that I can't go to bed without completing a post on this thread?):-

* I found out I can donate blood again from next month so am arranging to go locally

* I booked the cats in to have their yearly boosters at the vet (is it sad this is a positive?)

* I went round to a friend's for coffee and a chat

* DD is standing well (if we're holding onto her and put her in that position) and her legs are getting really strong. It also looks like she might get her 2nd tooth anyday now! :cheer:

* I think the Child Benefit goes in tomorrow

My day was really pants - spent most of the afternoon in tears - but at least I managed to find some positives from it! I think I need a negatives thread!

Hi girls

My positives are me and Tommo overcome a relationship hurdle today, there was a wall between us on my oart that i couldnt talk to him and be honest about how much i was spending, and that I needed another buggy for imogen as the one we hav isnt suitable for public transport.
Well i emailed him and confessed all and the thing is he knew already - and he said i could get lil lady another buggy, but i compromised and said i would sell thw two i have and he could have the money yay.

So to make a long story short -were ok again.

Molly had two gorgeous kittens on thurs and i forgot to mention iy

I purchased a new buggy and snuggle today yay

Thanks luv! And no, it's not sad that you HAVE to post!! And the cats will be healthy because you made their appointment for them, so of course that's a positive!

Even on our darkest days we need to reflect on the littlest things that were good! :hug: :hug: for you!

Mrs T, I'm glad you got things sorted out with Tommo, admitting it will have been hard, but I'm sure you feel relieved that it's not hanging over you anymore! Well done!!!

:hug:

Didn't get a chance to do mine yesterday so here they are:

*OH came back from work to tell me that he had 2 evenings off in a row!!! (he normally works 6/7 per week).
*OH offers to take me to the Greyhound racing for a posh meal and evening (even though that's where he works and where he had the night off from)
*I had YUMMY food
*We bet on every race (only like 50p-£1 mind) and didn't come away with a loss (or a profit but never mind).
*They had a tombola and i won a really cute pink teddy with wings
*bought some lovely scrapbook bits

Overall was a rather lovely day and evening :) and I wasn't bored! Wooo....

Will post today's later xxxx

I got my my living room cleaned! i know it dont sound much but my hoover belt snapped so im having to hoover using the nozzle and is taking ages! but im glad its done now!

Weight watchers first day has gone well and havent eaten any rubbish!

Stephen had his first portage session and did exceptionally well

All in all im one happy mummy

Ev'nin ladies!

Had a smashing day today, even though Mhairi had me up at 5am :bored: !

* Got up and showered!

* Did the shopping in Morrisons

* Came home and was playing with Mhairi when I realised - SHE'S CUT HER FIRST TOOTH!!! It's only a tiny wee sharp bit on her bottom gum, but it's through!!!!

* Took Mhairi to her other Gran's

* Went to Hillington with my mum and she bought Mhairi a walker and bath seat!

* Got a new bathroom cabinet and chest of drawers too!

* Mhairi loves her new walker!

Hope everyone else had a good day! Mrs T :clap: on the vacuming with just the nozzle......some girl you!!

Hey girls!

mrst - I've been there on the hoovering with a nozzle - its no fun! I think you can buy replacement parts (if you know someone with the know how to fix it) on eBay. Lainey - congrats on Mhairi's tooth, its so exciting! Babybee - that sounds like a fab night out!

I had a much better day today!

* DD cut her second tooth this morning - so now has two teeny bottom ones!

* I went to baby group and chatted to lots of people and DD played with her friends. Someone said she crawled when I wasn't looking but I'm not convinced she did (she is very mobile and can do a combination of shuffling/rolling, commandoing backwards to get places, but isn't quite crawling - I think she's very close though).

* I had a friend and baby over and we had a lovely lunch and afternoon. We went for a long walk past a beautiful lake and had a great chat and I really counted my blessings to live and be able to bring up DD in such a fantastic community with gorgeous scenery.

* I'm a little closer to sorting out my return to work (its not me that's holding up proceedings)

* I lost 2lbs this week

Night girls - going offline now.

Hey girls, :wave: Glad your all finding positives :hug:

Mine for today are:

Went to get Jack weighed and he only lost 1/2 ounce, not good to lose but considering how poorly he has been expected more

He has had a firm poo today :cheer: :rotfl: Least diarrhea is clearing up - yay!

I have stuck to my new diet all day (got to say it's bloody hard but I will stick to it)

Took Jack for a walk this morning after baby clinic, not far, in fact it was the walk home :rotfl: but a walk none the less!! :lol:

Cleaned the kitchen and hoovered the living room :cheer:

Hey luv! Great news about Jack, I'm sooo glad he's on the mend, poor wee lamb!

Did you go for the Cambridge diet? Big up to you if you did!! I just couldn't manage it, i'm to much of a grubber! Keep going!!!

Yeah thats the one, I have to say not a diet I would normally choose to follow but I really feel as though I need to see results quickly. I know it's going to be hard, my aim is to get to my birthday in June 4th first.. then treat myself to a meal. Then back on lol. Small steps :hug:

Woooo good days all round! :D

*OH had no work so spent all day together - woooooooooooooooooooo
*Didn't get up until midday :oops:
*Had a really lovely long bath
*Finally found a nice purse to replace my old one which was falling apart
*The baby sling MIL ordered for us arrived and it is fantastic

Evening all!

Today was a bit crappy as madam was up at 4am again!!! :wall: :wall: So I was completely knacked!

* We went to Ikea (me looking a state, like a junkie!) so that got us out for a bit!

* My Dad took Mhairi for a walk to let me get some sleep....and I did actually manage it!

* ^^^ I love my dad! :rotfl: :rotfl:

* Mhairi LOVES her new walker!

* Her one tooth is through a bit more! I'll have to get a toothbrush!

* I'm feeling more and more positive about this secondment I've been begged to do. Nothing to do with the fact that this hot summer I'll be in a short sleeved cotton shirt, instead of t-shirt and heavy overall, oh, and high vis jacket that MUST be worn when on the road! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Howdy :wave:

Wow Lainey 4am :bored: Congrats on Mhairis tooth.. she'll get another one soon no doubt :cheer: What job is you do?? Are you a paramedic?

Valentine... just wanna give you one of these :hug: im sure things will get better for you moneywise.. if I win the euromillions (for real) I will see you alrite!!! :wink:

Well, today I dont think I should be posting on here...cos I dont think I have any positives! :shock: :(

:think: :think: :think:

* I have a gorgeous little boy

* A good husband

* Our health

I know, I know... im probably cheating at this positive thing today... but I missed yesterdays out and didnt wanna miss out on posting today too! :)

Poor Lainey! My DD woke up at 3.30am bizarrely for her and I tried everything to get her back to sleep eventually resorting to boob (which I really didn't want to do) at about 5am and she slept with us til 7.45am. I don't know whether its recommended or not, but I'm keeping her teething necklace on her at night now, its been a godsend for us and she's just miserable without it.

Anyway - that was a ramble! I've had a good day today!

* I did my first Nappucino today - telling people about real nappies as part of Real Nappy Week. It wasn't very busy re. nappy chat but it was in a local soft play area so DD had her first go in a big ball pool and I got some lovely pics of her!

* I bought some lovely clothes for DD from the charity shops in the next town - will take a pic for the charity shop bargains thread!

* I bought some purple dye to dye my size 2 real nappies which DD will move into when she's about a year old. I bought the nappies second hand from a local real nappy project and although they aren't stained, they are a bit grey and miserable looking so I'm planning on dyeing them lots of funky colours! I will let you all know if its worked soon!

* I took DD for her first dentist appointment! She was booked in during mine

* I met up for lunch with a friend and her children - it was lovely to catch up with her and see her LOs

* OH took DD swimming and I made a yummy macaroni cheese for tea

* Got some future career stuff sorted out with OH

* The Apprentice is on in half an hour - woo hoo!

Catch you later girls!

Valentine Xxx

:hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:

*bought a nice little box thing which i am painstakingly sticking beads too (i get bored, lol)
*finally did the ironing and am going to have words with OH about the number of shirts he goes through!
*at 4 pieces of fruit today (i am generally anti-fruit, lol)
