Yes Miss! I'm getting stuck in the minute we get back from the IKEA sale!

I'll do before and after pics for you!

No pram yet, will be tomorrow. My aunt is, naturally, more interested in Mhairi than me, and she knew she wouldn't be here this avo, so we should see her tomorrow (if lambing doesn't go tits up - farmers!)

* I cant believe this one....... but, we had a 'morniner' dunno whats gotten into my hubby lately but I aint complaining!

Oh my goodness! That's fab luv! Keep it up (s'cuse the pun!) and you'll be back on track in no time!

* I bought 2 pairs of sunglasses today.. they where meant to be £25.00 each.. but I got them in the sale for £3.00 each (I have a bit of a thing for sunglasses )

And there was me thinking that the clip on ones would go sooooo well with your attractive milk bottle bottom specs!!!

So pleased to read about everyone's fab days!

* DD cut her first toothy-peg this morning! So exciting!

* I went to see my PND counsellor which is helping

* I spoke to three people about my business idea and they were positive

* DD had a play date with three other babies this afternoon and I had coffee with the Mums. It was lovely to chat to them.

* A friend paid me a compliment to say my house looked 'sparkly'! It needs a clean so goodness knows what it usually looks like for her to notice the difference!

* DD has been so happy and smiley today!

* I'm off for an lovely bath and early night

Ahhheemmmmmm! Proudly presenting the before and after of Mhairi's bombsite/bedroom -

Before -

This is the view from the door.....hence why I threw a berky as I literally COULDN'T get her clothes!

And after............

So obviously that is my major positive of the day (almost didn't get it done, but the idea of the wrath of Foxxi soon put a rocket up my @rse! (luv ya really Foxxi! )

You'll notice I didn't watermark the pictures.....if anyone want to steal them, feel free!

The rest of mine for today -

* Got up and ready quickly and went to Ikea (see othe post in off topic )

* Also did a food shop and got some natural yoghurt for Mhairi to try with some fruit puree mixed in

* The big pram arrived!!!

* I'm getting a shower once tootsie is in bed

* Mhairi is napping beside me at the moment...with her dummy in a very strange way.....will post in piccies...........and makes me laugh!

So I've had a good day! Just need to clean up the pram and get out walking!

Oh Wow Lainey! Well Done to you!

Mhairis room looks fab... musta taken you all day! Im glad I got all stern with you now... otherwise you may not have gotten it done! It really does look lovely Im glad your pram came too..bet ya cant wait to show it off..

My positives:

* My main one has to be the trick I played on hubby... it really made my day and has made me laugh all day.. I still cant stop laughing about it!

* I started to pack (well, the towels are in the case anyway) ironed all the clothes im taking. I hate packing!

* Washed the bedding and got it dry and have just put it back on the bed.

* Done another 2 lots of washing and got it dry.

Babybee...good luck for oh...hope he gets it! keep us posted!

And thats about it really.

Hi girls!

Aw Lainey - Mhairi's room is sooo lovely! It fab, I'm very jealous! Good luck to your OH Babybee! Foxxi - why do you hate packing? I love it! All that excitement and anticipation! Its unpacking I can't stand!

My positives from today:-

* At 9am, we went for a lovely long walk round the local farm and mill with OH and DD, with DD with OH in her back carrier with frame thing for the first time

* Went to the library on the way home and got 9 books for DD, CDs for OH and some books (including a cookbook) for me.

* OH took DD to 'Baby Band' - which they really enjoyed and gave me an hour to myself at home - that never happens!

* Went to the shops (on my own, very exciting) and got some bits and pieces for DD and some toiletries for me. I got DD two sunhats and a cute wee summer jacket from Next with some vouchers we were given when she was born.

* I nipped past Asda on the way home to get a few things and had a sneaky sushi snack (I LOVE sushi!)

* I made a lovely chilli with rice for tea

* DD tried to pull herself up on my leg when I was sitting on the floor today and also on her vtech walker

* I'm having some wine!

* I watched both the Lost pilots this evening (instead of a film) - I think I'm obsessed.

Congratulations Valentine on Ella cuting her first tooth - is she coping well?

My positives have been few this week unfortunately, not had a good week.

But ive been eating healthily this week

Am starting weight watchers monday and very excited.

Imogen is sitting up and entertaiing heself now yay.

Have attended the course for parents with Autistic kids and found its fasinating and I hope with doing it I change Stephens life for the better - it teaches you how t deal with the Autism.

Am going to have a lovely chicken roast today yummy

Well...my positives for today:

* I have finished packing

* Hubby took Fynn out for the afternoon... so had some time to myself and it was lovely.

* I havent had time for a shower yet and I stink so im gonna go and have a long soak in the bath soon maybe open a bottle of wine... and then throw myself on hubby!

and thats about it really... feeling quite chilled out now

Hello everyone!

Thank-you very much for your lovely comments on Mhairi's room! You'll maybe see why I was a bit upset at it being in a mess, as it took me ages to get it looking nice!

Foxxi - it's still tidy!! coz we haven't been in it today
I'm gonna try and beat you on the smilies so you don't feel bad!

You are all doing excellent! Keep it going!

For today -

* Got up early (5am, wasn't MY idea i'd have much preferred to )

* Got Mhairi ready and to her other Gran's so she could go to mass

* Put a face on - make-up, not as in "Put a brave face on!"

* Took my mum and grandma to Glasgow to get them kitted out for the christening. I must admit to being astounded that they BOTH got something!!!

* Came back down the road, picked Mhairi up, and my dad, and we went out for lunch!

* I had a glass of wine!

* I walked to my Aunt's house with the Silver Cross, had a lovely cuppa with my cuz, then walked back

* Mhairi has been a wee grubber, and ate everything I tried her on today....and she enjoyed going bouncy bouncy along the road in the big pram!

So a very good day for me!

Did I beat you Foxxi?!?!

Aw girls, its lovely to hear about your days! I love this thread!

I've had a really funny crappy day when I've just wanted to run away from everything, but I have come here to attempt to find some positives from it!

* DD stood up at both her vtech and bricks walker for about 30-50 seconds with no-one holding onto her. She can't walk with them but thinks she's very clever for standing on her own! We got some lovely photos of her too.

* I tried DD with some smoothie for breakfast - she didn't like it, but at least I tried!

* We made it to Asda and got some food shopping that should last til Thursday - I can't believe how poor we are just now.

* OH got lots of his school work done (teacher) - and now feels much more organised for his forthcoming inspection.

* I'm just about to watch the next episode of Desperate Housewives on E4 with a nice cup of tea

Hi everyone hope you don't me joining this post. It may help my recovery from PND (worth a try )

I have had a bearable day today and managed to get quite alot done. Looking back i think i have done abit too much because i am tired now and feeling abit low.

Todays Positives:

Went to the gym with the Oh whislt my mother in law looked after the children (1st time alone without Jessica). We had a lovely swim and it was so nice spending time together, just us.

Made a lovely tea together.

Made cookies with Ben.

Sat down together and watched the Goonies before bed.

Did loads of ironing (not done any for ages)

Felt ok until my partner went out this evening, i know it is axiety but i don't know why i am scared of being alone. I wish it would just go away.

Oh and by the way Mhairis room looks great well done!!

*had yummy roast dinner
*spent some time with OH's parents which was nice
*made plans to meet a couple of friends later in the week

Today I felt rubbish as Mhairi woke at 4am and wouldn't go back to sleep, so I'm pooped!

But -

* Got tonnes of washings done

* My Dad took Mhairi out for a 2 mile walk to give me a break!

* My boss phoned , not just my boss, but my big big boss offering me a years secondment in ambulance control. Same pay (more than others in control), 9 - 5, mileage allowance and a hell of a lot better uniform!! So I think I'll go for it, might open up more oppurtunities in the future!

Got Ben to school on time
Picked up my prize krispy kreme doughnut card
Went to PND support group
Saw CPN
Mopped house and did washing
Played with Ben and Jessica

and now i am painting my toe nails. x

Hey Lucy!

It's the little things that are the positives! I started this thread so that I could look back at things that went right during the day. It's always the things that go wrong that we focus on!

For me, something as silly as getting a shower can be a massive positive in a day!

So keep going, you're doing great!

Hi Folks

Well my positives:

* Hubby gave me a sleep-in this morning and got Fynn ready for the day.

* Had a lovely long shower and put my face on... its seems like ages ago since I made an effort with myself.

* I went to the Metrocentre with Fynn and bought 2 lovely tops and a pair of flipflops for my holiday (bout time I treated myself).

* I found a t-shirt that I used to love wearing before I was pregnant and dont fit in it anymore.. so have cut the back open and zig-zagged some elastic thru the back and its looking fab... its not finished yet tho.. but when its done will look great! (better than before).

and thats about it!

Lainey, I used to work in ambulance control.

Mine for the last few days:

*Dad got out of hospital and is finally starting to feel a bit better
*Had meeting at work and *think* my hours etc are all sorted (I could moan a bit here but positives only!)
*Dylan is just so gorgeous that he makes me smile every time I look at him!
*Dylan continues to eat everything I feed him (and more) and loves feeding himself

Don't really have any more but hopefull will soon!
