Hey girls
Writing this from my hosp bed op was done yesterday tumour is out and ovarian drilling done.
Yesterday eve and last night were awful. Doped up large style and was in quite a lot of pain. Today is better - still very bloated and abdomen is swollen from all the gas. Off my food still, very tired and shuffling round but making progress. Surgeon said it was a great success

Is the tumour being sent off for a biopsy or do you have the all clear?

It's getting sent off but cos my bloods came back clear it's just to be sure, to be sure I'm not too worried really.
I can't go home today, they r saying tomoro hopefully. Catheter is out and I'm shuffling round the place slowly and my appetite is slowly returning.
I have such a bloated abdomen I look like I should be in tri two!!

Well I'm home now got back about an hour ago. It funny how much better you feel just by being home.
Consultant came and chatted to me again yesterday, basically told me what I didn't want to hear.... He said I'll prob ovulate for 4-5 months after this but it'll start to tail off again to the point that I'll get 3 or 4 periods a year. That I may get more tumours that need removing and possibly the loss of an ovary he said "this condition will effect you for the rest of your life" so me and o/h will have to get cracking as soon as I can.
Apparently I'm at significant risk of diabetes and hypertension(???) because of it!! Then he was on about assisted conception and all the rest of it, I just hope it doesn't have to come to that.
For the time being I'm just taking it easy at home xx
