October Mummies!

I've had some nausea for the past week now but today is awful. I'm at work with a bucket between my legs trying my best to be discreet!!! Send help :(

Aww, @kj1 I feel for you. I've been feeling really sick today too but thankfully not needing to be at work while sick.

It may be a good idea to get the doctor to prescribe you some anti nausea tablets. Alternatively and at least until then I find really cold things like iced water and sour things helpful. Mints may help a little too. Another thing that may help is ginger either in tablet form or in food.

Try to get plenty of rest when you aren't working because being tired tends to makev morning sickness worse.

I hope you feel better soon.

Oh gosh you poor thing, feel so bad for you. Don’t know how the bucket between the legs is being discreet though!! Haha! Hope you feel better soon <3

I still haven't had my scan date through! Now its the weekend.. I'm going to ring them next week if it's not here on monday! Impatiently waiting here lol

I’ve barely had any nausea. If it wasn’t for my boobs being tender I’d be worried. I didn’t have much nausea at all with my daughter at all though. I’m so worried about everything this time and as my doctor said yesterday “ignorance is bliss”.. when I was pregnant with my daughter I had no issues and had no idea what to even be worried about. Now I have had two miscarriages and worry about everything.

Haha @PinkFlamingo it was under the table ‘just in case’ luckily no one noticed.

@Oliviasmommy I had zero symptoms, then 8 weeks hit and everything changed lol. Struggling to keep awake at work too. I felt like this from day dot with my first, weird how each pregnancy is so different.

Cold water is defo helping @MammaOfMany. Eating does too, even when I don’t feel like it. Nibbling on something really takes the edge off! I’m going to be huge

Oh wow well I guess let’s see what happens!! Maybe this is the calm before the storm lol

I had a couple of weeks of nausea/loss of appetite. I'd say my appetite is 80% back, I'm almost 10 weeks now, nausea has pretty much gone. Now I'm suffering with acne, mainly on my back! I'm still tired all the time, and my boobs are only tender at certain times. Also very moody! Haha

How do people get pregnant and not have nausea? It's not fair! I am still finding life very very hard. I'm always tired and always nauseated. Now I'm getting dehydrated because I can't seem to find a drink that I can actually keep down. Every drink seems so gross. Especially water. I had this problem with food last time, but not drinks. 10+4 today, 16 weeks was when I started to improve last time, so I've still got a long way to go I think.

Also - I'm 99% sure I've felt this baby move a few times now. Seems way too early but I know what flutters feel like this time around and I've definitely had a few flutters <3

Aww man, I dont envy you! I think its something like 70% get morning sickness/nausea. My mum said she never had any at all with both me and my brother, she sailed through and absolutely loved being pregnant. Very lucky I guess but it does happen! That's so exciting - my app told me baby is moving around in there now so I'm sure its definitely possible, and given this is your second. I cant wait for that feeling! <3

Early baby movements feel A LOT like gas bubbles popping. There's a slight difference that I can't really explain but you'll understand once you get there! Yes, I think with your first your stomach muscles are still holding everything in tightly. I can already feel a big gap between my stomach muscles this time (ugh) so that must make it easier to feel things.

@WinterWolf , 16 weeks is when I normally start feeling better too although each pregnancy is slightly different. This time for me it is smells that are sending me bonkers. Not food as much but I mean normal smells that are everywhere including the smell of skin, clothes, people's breath (that is normal and not something that would be considered bad breath and you wouldn't even normally notice), and just everywhere in general. The smells make me sick of course. I feel like if I could control my sense of smell my nausea would be much reduced.

I am only 9 +2. I've felt flutter type feelings and they are just so low that I figure it's the right place but I just don't know if it would even be possible this early.

Awww! I thought I was going crazy but I’ve been feeling flutters too! <3
I’m sure my morning sickness had stopped before 12 weeks last time. There doesn’t seem an end in sight!
Those that have had multiple pregnancies have you noticed difference/similarities when you’ve been carrying the same sex? X

No, @Xsarahh, I can't say I have noticed a single difference between the girls and boys during pregnancy.

I was so so exhausted today. My husband needed to drag me to the bed after I passed out on the floor.

Got my scan date - tuesday 31st march. Eek! 2 weeks on tuesday. Just out for some fresh air, haven't been outside properly for so long. Feels good!

I am starting to finally feel semi human again. Haven't actually been sick for 3 days in a row now! Unfortunately I've got a small bug so have been struggling with headaches for those 3 days haha, if it's not one thing it's another.

I think I have everyone added to the front page now, but if I've missed you out and you want to be added just send a message.

I've got my scan next wednesday, I hope it still goes ahead with all the coronavirus stuff happening! I really just want to know this baby is ok because with my first one, the sickness didnt go away until about 16 weeks. Fingers crossed everything is ok in there!

Yay! Let us know how it goes! I had mine this past Wednesday. I go back the 26th just to check things again at 9 weeks then I don’t think I’ll go back for 4 weeks. They just want to keep track all is ok I think after two miscarriages.

I'm excited but also nervous. I just have to keep faith that its not going to go like it did last time. How did your scan go? It's good you're getting more checks! 12 weeks is a long time to wait to see your baby! X

That’s all we can do! I had some pink spotting last night but my hubby reminded me the DR said she did see a small bleed and said it was fine. Just scared me and I started thinking the worst. The scan went really well! We saw the heartbeat and baby is measuring perfectly! DR said after my next appt at 9 weeks if all looks ok then I should be smooth sailing. I have been taking baby aspirin every day which she told me to continue. Here’s a photo of our baby!

Aww that's amazing! A little spotting is normal especially if they saw a small bleed. We just have to try and stay positive <3
