Today I'm tired, feel a bit sicky, and I've got a sore back! But thankful I've got these symptoms I guess!
Is anyone suffering from food aversions? I’ve really gone off meat. I’ve tried to force it down, but it’s making me feel disgusted n traumatised. I was a veggie before but thought it best to start eating meat but it’s just horrible!
Thanks! I was about 7 weeks when I found out about my first, only just 5 weeks this time. I've not had any more cramping in the last couple of days so hoping it was just settling in!Welcome and congratulations! How far along were you when you found out? With both my pregnancies I found out at 4 weeks so very early. This time I had a lot of cramping around the time my period was due so I thought it was coming but it never showed up!
I’ve had my booking appointment through for March 5th. So pleased as last time I didn’t hear anything until I was 10 weeks and had an appointment at 11 weeks so it was all so late! This time I will be 9 weeksjust want the next two weeks to hurry up now!
Thanks! I've found out almost 3 weeks sooner than with my daughter and I had the easiest pregnancy in the world with her, no symptoms other than being a bit queasy for a few weeks early on. Three cramping has gone now so hoping all is well and it was just normal stretching!Hi and welcome Merry
With my ds I had no symptoms at all in the first trimester and this time I have been tired, had waves of nausea every now and then and had a lot of cramping initially - I’ve heard it can be normal....

Thread hopping here! I’m a vegetarian and wouldn’t dream of touching meat just because I’m pregnant. I’m carrying twins and my iron is perfect so far. So long as you are eating well and or taking vitamins you don’t need to force yourself to eat meat at all. If you’re concerned I would speak to your midwife, when I told mine I was a vegetarian she didn’t bat an eyelid.
Yes! I just toss and turn, and when I do get to sleep I wake up in a hot sweat. Is anyone else struggling to sleep? I’m sooo tired but just can’t sleep. Thought it was just the storms but it’s still going on x
Wonderful! XxxHad my scan today - we saw a healthy little jellybean measuring 7+1 with a heartrate of 157bpm. It's measuring bang on with my dates so yay![]()

I remember this from the early days last time too, and sadly it didn’t ease for the whole pregnancy!
I promise you, you sleep again! You just adapt to a new kind of “sleep” aka I used to feel 11+ hours was a proper lush treat but now if I get to bed at 10 and have a cheeky 7:30am lie in then I feel super refreshed! xxxxOh lovely! My husband thinks it’s my body preparing me for no sleep ever again!! Haha!! X
