Thank you. I'm generally not an anxious person but this has turned me into a crazy person. Did you pay for the scan or did you manage to get one from your doctor? I'm glad everything is going well with your pregnancy without sickness, because I have only told my close family and my mum had sickness from the get go with me and my sister there's no one to talk to thats in the same boat as me so that makes me feel a bit more at ease. You are totally right I don't know why i put myself through this ...I don't know if it is all of these crazy hormones that are pumping around my body!! Thanks again I need to try and calm down a bit and think more positively

Aw yeah, it's understandable ... we have all been there I am sure! And yes - definitely blame the hormones!

I'm in Australia, so scans are done privately - the hospital probably won't even cover my 20 week scan! I know of a few people on this forum who got good deals on private scans. If you could afford a private scan - that can give you some reassurance. Otherwise, try and enjoy being relatively symptom free with me! Woo hoo x

I noticed a bit of brown mucus type discharge when i wiped this morning, very very light and no blood (Sorry too much info!) And then a few times after that and now it's gone away. Is this normal? I've been trying to phone the early pregnancy unit, they arranged a call back then and missed their call and now they have closed. The woman did say it could be implantation but 6 weeks seems to be quite late for that? I've been constipated and finally went to the toilet today and I read online that sometimes that can trigger it but then the dreaded misscariage word appears on the threads also so I Duno what to think. I don't have any cramping just a twinge here and there but nothing painful. Can anyone relate?

Lots of women have bleeding in their pregnancy and everything in between and it’s all worked out. Of cause there is still a risk of miscarriage this early on, but it could be lots of other things. My GP said that if I found little bits of brown bleeding- it could be implantation (blastocyst snuggling in), or from the stretching and growing in your uterus, or an irritated cervix. If I were you, I would stay away from googling stuff and reading forums because it will only make your anxiety worse and it’s probably bs anyway. I reckon “miscarriage” comes up for *everything*

Thank you ....there was blood when i wiped for about an hour yesterday so I have already prepared myself for the worst. Going to phone the early preg unit today and hopefully get checked. Fingers crossed I am wrong....

Thanks guys ❤ spent all day waiting on the early preg unit to phone, they finally phoned 6 hours later and booked me in for a scan tomorrow at 2. So glad I don't have to wait all weekend, it's awful just waiting. My pregnancy symptoms have just about disappeared and I passed what looked like small clots of blood earlier when i wiped so I dont think its looking good but who knows!! I'm gona be positive either way though if it doesn't work out this time I'm sure it will sooner or later ❤

Oh Lis90, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Honestly, it does sound like my early losses but all my spotting was just spotting with a few teeny clots all in one day so yours could easily be very different. Most of the women in my last mummies group had bleeding at this stage and were absolutely fine, so I'd say, prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Fx for tomorrow.

So they found a heartbeat ❤❤❤❤ they think I was bleeding because I had a fall on Thursday morning and that's when it started. I'm booked in for a scan in 2 weeks time just for peace of mind so glad I don't have to wait another 6 weeks!! Obviously I'm still not out of the safe zone but so relieved and emotional that everything is okay right now ❤❤

Hi everyone, I'd like to join please! I'm due 14th Oct roughly but dates aren't quite matching the scans atm, this is the farthest I've got after 2mc last year so I'm keeping everything crossed! I'm 8wk 3 days. Feeling super nervous and crabby with nausea coming on about tea time which is hard. Glad to be here. Xxx

This bleeding is stressing me out. That's been since Thursday I have been spotting ..obv saw the heartbeat on Saturday via internal ultrasound but still spotting every time I wipe. Sometimes it's brown sometimes it's pink or sometimes it's red. I went to the toilet earlier and the water in the toilet was a pink colour. I don't want to keep phoning the early preg unit and it's hard to be there for a call back when im in work as I can't have my phone with me. Has anyone else experienced this for this long? I'm not getting any major cramps, my tummy feels a bit uncomfortable at times and I get light cramps like before you start a period. This also isnt when i am due my period as my last period was 22nd of Jan. Finding it really hard to relax and sleep at night because of this I thought the scan would have made me feel better!!!

Bloodflow has already increased to that area and it is really easy to burst blood vessels and they can bleed for weeks. Just try to take it easy. Xxx

Thank you, I wasn't sure if it was normal for it to be going on this long. Hopefully it stops soon.
