Had my private scan this evening. Measuring 9+3 strong heart beat! I celebrated with a pizza!! Lol

Yay great news! Glad it went well & love your choice of celebratory food lol I’m obsessed with pizza! Dominos cheese and tomato.. extra cheese, extra sauce haha

Thanks!! It was so nice seeing the heartbeat and moving arms and legs. Love pizza ang garlic bread atm hmmm!!!

Thank you so much. It so reassuring to see the baby after what seems like an eternity to conceive . Yes comfort food all the way! Got myself a mint aero scone to eat later when I feel better lol.

Sounds good though I'm all about savoury things still. I think we needed to see it was real too. After all this time, you really do believe that it only happens to other people. From memory I think you were trying as long as we were?

Yes over two and a half years and not sure how many cycles I lost count as I’d have quite short ones aswell as long . It’s so good we are Here together x

How's everyone doing?

Actually felt like I slept properly last night which feels a first for a long time. Everything still feels like an effort but just not quite so bad. I'm not getting my hopes up too high in case I slump again tomorrow but it's been nice to chill out but actually feel human today

Seeing the midwife this week. Not sure what to expect other than lots of questions!! Still waiting for a 12 week scan appointment. Glad we did an early one or I'd be going crazy!!

I am so bloated it’s uncomfortable. None of my clothes fit, I’ve had to get a bigger work uniform. I was even out dog walking with a friend (who does know I’m pregnant) and she told me I’ve gained a tummy already. I’m 9+5 today. Why am I so big?! Anyone else having the same thing?

My scan is only 18 days away

My boobs are definitely bigger but all my clothes still fit. I feel fuller after I eat but I don't think I'm any bigger really.

So I hope this works as I’m new to this forum, but here’s a pic of my stomach this evening. Bearing in mind I’m only nine weeks... before pregnancy I was a slim size 8/10

I’m the same today moomin feel human!! I cleaned my house washed a heap of clothes did the food shop and cooked!! Lol but with a good day comes many sick ones. So tomorrow will be a blast lol

I am absolutely exhausted but trying to power through today as we have a house inspection (we rent) on Friday and I don't have the chance to do any household chores before then due to work and plans, so getting as much done as I can today. Just finished my 2-year-olds room, how does a toddler make so much mess and the realisation I'll be doing her room for years to come yet has broken me

I'm generally feeling OK... Which has worried me as I've felt so awful for weeks and now suddenly today don't feel as bad so I'm convinced something is wrong

That may be more bloating than bump lovely as our uterus don't start moving upwards yet until around 12.5 weeks (I am constantly Googling for diagrams on where my uterus is haha!)

Have you had your booking appointment yet? If not and the appointment this week is your booking appointment, that may be why you haven't had a scan date threw as I'm pretty sure it's your midwife that sends your info over to the hospital to request a scan. Unless you called the hospital to book one yourself?

Nah it’s definitely just bloat because I can’t feel a fundus... just I’ve never looked like this before so it’s an unpleasant shock

So whinging impatiently online is clearly the way to get things moving!! Got a scan date through but it's right in the middle of the day which wouldn't worry me but the hospital car parking is truly horrendous. I'd be going from work so public transport isn't an option. Will call them tomorrow and see if I can get a better time.

Booking appointment is Wednesday but the GP requested my scans separately which is why I was expecting it.

I'm trying it, it's pregnancy safe. It's OK for headaches but does nothing for migraines!

They don’t but it would be so helpful if they did! For pain, it’s basically paracetamol only. You can def take rennies for indigestion too

Thanks I’ll stick with paracetamol. Would be great as most things I touch say don’t take while pregnant lol it’s so confusing!

Yesterday had my private - i could not wait til 12-13wks... theyve pulled my dates forward slightly. So im 10+3 today... means my due date is now the 10th Nov xx
