Afternoon ladies. Just checking in today, how is everyone?
My symptoms seem to have escalated in the last 24 hours, nausea, vomiting, headaches, restless legs, insomnia, aversion to certain smells .......... The list feels endless!!!!
I have my midwife appointment on 12th April (I'll be 8+5 weeks) and my scan on 5th May ( I'll be 12+1)
Its becoming very real and exciting

I'm currently suffering from the most unattractive symptom to date - wind!! And its trapped as well so when it comes out its like a fog horn hahaha!!! Good job me and oh have a very "toilet humour" type relationship cos I'm vile this evening! It's right under my ribs - suppose I better get used to discomfort there though!!

I'm starting to allow myself to get excited now as well. Me and oh have been discussing names via text today as well. Eeeek!!! Looks like this one is actually happening and staying with us!!!

Welcome Broony! And Congratulations!!

Just trying to catch up with everyone as I've been off for a few days! Had horrendous nausea and fatigue, I feel like an old lady!

We bought a new car yesterday eeeek - main reason being to get a bigger 5 door so we can fit a baby seat in, and it's isofix compatible!! Exciting!! We also move house monday so ill call midwife as soon as we move to get my booking appointment! I feel left out with everyone having theirs booked

Ah, well I had my first 'blip' today. My sickness has been getting progressively worse to the point of not keeping anything down and it keeping me awake. I woke today with a sharp pain in my left side, kinda where my ovaries are I think.
It hurt to sit down etc. So we visited a&e
All bloods came back fine and they have booked me in for an early scan on Tuesday. But this pain is still there. Hoping it's nothing to worry about.

My midwife appointment is on the 13th, I'll be about 10 weeks then - is that later than normal for a first pregnancy?

Sharcaz wow sounds like you're hinge to have a busy few day moving house! Are you moving far?
So sorry the nausea and fatigue are bad for you lovely, hope it gets better soon

Tina, oh sweetie really hope your ok, it must be so worrying for you, ive heard one sided pain can be quite common and doesn't always indicate anything bad, and also your bloods came back ok which is a really good sign
I pray everything goes well with your scan on Tuesday my lovely

Oh and ive got my booking appointment on the 13th also!! when I'll be 9 weeks but I think anything between 6-11 weeks is ok as long as it's before 12 weeks as they have to refer you for your 12/13 week dating scan

But yeah, I think everything will be just ok. Once the sickness etc has lessened and I look pregnant, not fat, I'll be smiling more. ha ha...,

I've come to our caravan at Skegness for a week, on the way in the car I was very crampy and felt sick,

Hey all!!! Not been on much the last couple of days - went back to work Tuesday so have been wiped out by the time ice had tea. I've fell asleep on the sofa every night haha!

All is good here, trying to enjoy tri 1 now - I feel that the chances of anything going wrong now have really slimmed down so chilling out a bit now. Hope everyone else is ok! X

Hey girls - had scan yesterday 8+5 strong heartbeat

Today was my daughters 1st birthday party - I'm knackered, Been running around since yesterday afternoon baking cakes, making sandwiches etc- can't wait for bed time! I also have an eye infection which has left me temporary loss of sight in my left eye - going through the Mills.

Congrats on the new bfps! Could you please remind me of your usernames and estimate due dates? I'm a bit lost when scrolling backwards!

I'm having the worst insomnia just now. It's awful. Anyone else the same? Any tips?

I also had really horrible dizzy spell about 3am. Was in bed and the whole room was spinning. Felt awful

MillersMrs you need to rest as much as you can, Tri 1 is really draining

Sparkles I didn't have insomnia till last night and I woke at 3 am till 6 am then had to get up at 7 am with my little boy!! Knackered
We are on holiday in our caravan so hopefully will get a siesta later on

My edd is 16th Prettypee and schell had sadly left us

Morning all. I've been suffering insomnia too. It's so draining being in tri1 anyway, the insomnia just makes it even worse. Restless legs don't help either.
I'm back to work next week after 4 weeks off following my car accident and some annual leave. Not sure how I'm going to cope with a run of nights!!
The sun us shining this morning so I'm determined to get out in the garden and have some fun with my little girl.

Oh hun it's sounds like we're all having a hard time sleeping!!! I've got RLS too!! I hate it, I always get it when I'm pregnant, just can't seem to get comfortable either

Hope you have a lovely day hun, and hope the nights are ok, I'm a nurse and worked nights while pregnant with my little boy, so can sympathise
