I'm looking for a projector that lights up my Los ceiling at night. We stopped the dummy almost 2 weeks ago and since then my wee boy is really struggling to relax and drop off to sleep by himself. I thought looking at the stars would be relaxing and help him drift off.

I've looked online but there's so many I don't know where to start. He is 2 but most seem aimed at little babies. I've seen one called pillow pets night lights but some of the reviews say the room has to be very dark to see the lights.

I posted the other week about the gro clock (mainly to help him sleep a bit longer in the morning). But that's not helping at all so we'll persevere until hopefully it sinks in.

Anyway, do any of your toddlers have these wee light up projectors you would recommend? X

I'm really happy with my Summer Infant slumber buddies Eddie the elephant that I ordered from amazon- they have different animals including a cute bee. I don't know what extra a toddler would need but this cycles through red, green and blue stars and projects really well onto the ceiling.

Thanks tinselcat, they look lovely. It was more the look of them really, I'm decorating his room a dinosaur theme at the mo and a lot of the ones I came across wouldn't have looked right. I like the frog one out of the different characters xxx

I love the hippo one I have, relaxes me anyway!!

Aw kay kay let me know if it helps him.

Im thinking of doing away with the dummy around christmas (hoping giving to the elves story will work!? Lol)

But worried this will trigger a nightmare for bedtimes!
If the light works for Matthew ill get one for Noah when the times comes xx

Nat that's really cute, a wee Bee for wee Bee lol

Yeah dani we were going to wait til Christmas to give the dummies to the elves but last Monday he handed me his dummy back at nap time so I got him to put them all in a box and said I'd send them to Santa.

He only had it for naps and bedtime too. Needless to say his nap has gone (we had reduced it anyway), he'll only sleep in the car or buggy now.

But I wasn't expecting the drama going down at night! He's been really upset and asking me to read stories, sing to him, just anything to get me to stay in the room with him. I'm used to giving him his dummy saying night night and shutting the door.

Shows you how much he relied on the dummy for comfort!

I'll let you know how the light goes, think I'll order the frog one. He's still getting up at stupid o'clock by the way, which will only get earlier come the clocks going back tomorrow night! (Sob)

Ps - nat well done on the toilet training xx

I have the fisherprice animal projector that projects animals onto the ceiling & he loves it! He can now fall asleep without it on so I hardly pop it on for him anymore as he doesn't seem to need it

Well the light has been in use for a few nights now (went for the summer frog one). He really likes it but unfortunately it doesn't replace his greatest comfort - me! He still wants me to sing him to sleep, which I've decided not to fight. He won't want his old mum to sing him to sleep forever...or will he?!? Lol

Haha awww bless him.

Well. Sorry to make matters worse but my mum went with that with me and my sister and i remember being 6 and 7 and she would still have to  good ol'd silent night!!! Hahahaha x

Nooooo don't tell me that! Thing is I'm a rubbish singer lol!! Sure he'll get sick of my dulcet tones soon! Haha x

Noahs currently sat on the top of the landing calling for me.
Hes been in bed 45mins! Ithought he was asleep!!!! Xx
