I want some signs too!!!! I know I'm only just past 37 weeks but I'm too excited to wait now....Lulubelle..I'm the same as you ..convinced my baby won't come unitil 2 weeks after due date-nothing is happening yet anyway!

i feel uncomfy and fed up today but no signs baby is wriggling about like mad so must be happy in there

im 39wks today so baby has officially 1wk left but id love something to happen sooner

Hehe, if we all pop at the same time our text buddy system might fail! Lol. Though i guess me and BeckyJ will be at home... my OH reckons i should have the laptop next to the birth pool and update you on every contraction... lol.

Not going to happen. I'll leave the fun updating for the text buddies! hehe.

That is if baby actually gets a wriggle on!

I have a headache/earache... but unless she is planning on coming out of my ear i don't think it can be a sign.. lol.

Sarah (GL) - my Matt keeps trying to convince me to eat pineapple.. but i HATE the stuff, and they are nearly £2 each round here! That'd be £16 on pineapple! Lol. And I don't like curry either... maybe i'll try one pineapple... and a very mild curry... lol

i eat pineapple and currys all the time, my mum and i go for an indian buffet every friday, she said weeks ago that it's going to take a rocket to get him out of me because he'll be so used to the curry

Just been doing a bit of googling to find out exactly what the mucus plug/bloody show looks like when you lose it and I definitely had my show this morning, the descriptions are exactly like what I saw when I wiped.

So just waiting for something else to happen now, baby been going mad this afternoon wriggling and moving around but no other signs just yet.

my baby has been moving around an awful lot and my tummy keeps goin rock hard, no pains tho

The rock hard thing is strange! I'm never sure whether it's baby moving more towards to front and making my belly even firmer or whether its something else!

But no pain for me, no signs, NOTHING. I'm not even into nesting today! The hoover is in my room but i don't plan on using it.lol

Hiya i had my consultant appointment today i said about the slightly painful cramps ive had (and still getting) and she said that baby is starting to make an appearance as he is now fully engaged (my other babies didnt engage at all) and he is making my lady bits really sore and achey.

she gave me a follow up appointment for next week to check my bp (which was fine today btw) but she said by the signs i shouldnt need it

Still no plug though just lady jism still.

i googled mucus plug last night and it came up with pics was not very pleasant!!

when i was in hospital at the weekend and was on the CTG machine, the midwife kept asking me if i could feel contractions, as they were coming every few minutes at one point

i couldn't feel a THING, and it got to the stage where she had to feel my tummy when they came, then she told me it must be braxton hicks my stomach just goes hard, i can't feel anything else at all

have period type pains and some pushing down feelings but taking them with a pinch of salt now

I think it might be a combination of BH and baby just pushing towards front. I haven't had any painful BH yet though so maybe it is just baby moving towards front
