I can now say i am slowly losing my plug the past few hours when ive been to the toilet there has been increased amounts of clear jelly like stuff when i wipe

about an hours a go an good sized blob came out sorry tmi

each time i go to the toilet there is more mucus

why does everyone keep going on about clear outs like its bloody load each time i feel some how abnormal thats its coming out in small bits and only when i go to the toilet

i mean dose it really have to be a hug clear out to be the musuc plug or can it be it when i comes out slowly
its cant be anything else its clear jelly looking and dose not smell of wee

im clueless

I've been having the same however i put mine down to being lady jism!!

It just doesnt seem right to me to be anything else but if you are getting bigger "blobs" of mucus then yours must be your plug which means ........................................... somethings happening!!!!

And as i said im not having those huge clear outs the other girls whom have had thier babies kept raving about. Its still only a little bit at a time

Iv just woke up finding it difficult to breathe again. Baby must be lying funny. I'm sooo tired and everytime i drop off i wake up gasping for breath its horrible! Going to have lay on the sofa now because i can normally find a better position to lay on there. He's having a right riggle is baby and some reaaly sharp pains down below so hopefully he's moving down some more

Mornin *TMI Alert*
During another evening of regular contractions the pain really ramped
up last night and with no help from paracetamol, shower, walk, Tens machine...i finally called the hospital and went in to be checked.
Midwife was lovely, she did an internal said cervix slightly open
and came out with a 'bloody show' all over her fingers!!!!!
(Most embarrassed was I)
Anyway she offered me the choice of staying or going home as this has been going on so long now and with my teenytinyness/doctor last week saying i would prob need a caesarian (baby still not engaged seems he
can't get down). I came home anyway with some co-codamol with instructions to go back if things change or am worried.
Sorry thats all a bit garbled am tiiiiiired, time to wait again i guess

it really sounds like you could be having your baby soon hunny

gets some rest love i know how much its hrting im still gettting similar pains to you this is my 3rd day of them so i feel your pain sweetie

I have had a night of cramping pains which have carried on this morning.


I have a consultant appointment later at 12:15 and i was told that he'd want to get things going if my blood pressure is still up (which prob will be as i have to drag my 2 kids along with me today as everyone is working so no-one can have them)


I got my fingers crossed that something is going to happen today maybe a sweep coz id rather my blood pressure wasnt high! but im used to being induced so that doesnt phase me anyway.


When i get back i'll update you all on what consultant said and i wanna see that someone is about to or has popped a sprog!!

i have a relaxation class this afternoon, maybe the breathing etc may do something?

lets hope baby decides to begin exit procedures with our the need of an induction.
But hope the consultant gives you a sweep to get things moving though we dont want the high blood pressure

yep, managed to drop off on the settee, woke up again about 3 and went and got in my bed. Good job because the settee isn't the comfiest thing and would have probably woke up with a sore neck!
Feeling abit sick today and been to the toilet a couple of times with the runs (sorry TMI!!)..probably something i'v eat but fingers crossed its things getting a move on!
Midwife should be here in an hour or two to check my BP so hopefully all will be fine
hope evry1 is ok today and maybe we will have someone popping soon!!

there is a serious droubt in babies lately!!!

Lots of positive signs for Geordie Lass, 3rdbaby_due23rdMay and Teej I think will pop first.

TMI about to happen so apologies in advance, woke up about an hour ago and went to the loo, when I wiped there was loads of discoulured junk. Im not sure if its my plug or not as I always imagined my plug to be thicker but this was slightly thinner than the discharge you get just before OV but it had dark brown bits in it like when you first come on your period and the blood is really dark.

Hope its my plug, going to the supermarket soon so I will wait and see what the day brings, hopefully some more developments

And ditto to thinking the plug as thick and gunky that has me confused to as girls who have gone before us described it as thick and gunky
guess we have our own type of mucus plug we our special 8) 8)

well, I have had NO signs of anything!!!! In fact, Im feeling better than I have done in a while. Grrrrrr I know I'm not diue for 10 days yet, but I want baby out! We need to start preparing for our holiday. I am now convinced babe isn;t going to come until 2 weeks after my due date.
