News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Had a bad night.

Had loads of braxton hicks and I was tossing and turning with them as they were uncomfortable, also had very mild tummy cramps still got them this morning they keep coming and going.

a few mild tummy cramps for me last night and some nausea but nothing too bad

NOTHING, NADA, ZIP!

(anyone getting a sense of deja vu from me)

My brother called last night to thank me for his birthday card, he wanted to know if there was any sign of bubs - i said no, except that i had an urge to eat a lot of jam donuts... he says he has that all the time so it can't be a sign of labour. Lol.

Hi Girls

We all sound the same. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and had a mucas show(no blood) last week. Since then I've had mild period pains a
that come and go but nothing major. Getting so impatient now but suppose as they say " baby will come when its ready"!!!

Collier's wigling about as per usual no signs of him wanting to come out

Ive got my Mif wife appointment in a few hours time :) hope the lady i see is nice!!
Will find out what he's up to then i also managed to get an appoinment to see my midwife next wednesday :cheer: :cheer: which im happy about as i want to go through my birth plan with her

Not much but the usual bouts of regular sore BHs for me and a couple of clearouts  (TMI?)
Had my antenatal clinic appt yesterday with doctor and midwife (am on shared care as i am so teeny tiny), baby Sam is still not engaged at all and after a good old prod the doctor said "Mmm, baby big and you small, probably will need a caesarian"
He basically seemed to be offering me the choice of trying or just having a section but then said he'd need to go ask the consultant first so i was left sitting there trying to decide!!!
Of course the consultant said they should make me try to for a normal birth and see how it went, which is fair enough but bloody hell i got a shock.....anyway all is well with me and bubs otherwise so i guess its just waiting now :?

TEEJ   im not suprised you were shocked hun
its a big decision make hope you can do a natural birth !!!!
glad all is well aprat from that and you and baby our healthy :D

Hi Girls

My granny in Brazil told me today that as soon as I know i'm in labour I should have a small cup of black coffee with a spoonful of butter in it! She's had 6 kids and with each of them by doing this shortened the labour time. My mum and aunts have also done this and its meant to work! I'm going to try it when it happens.

Just a thought.

Thats really good Sarah sounds like things are going in the right direction (down that is!) :cheer:
I guess its about time i told you all my name is Tracy but am known by many as TJ (hence Teej)
I can't believe how many of us are due so close together, i really like this thread by the way cos i don't often start new topics (bit shy  )
so is a nice place just to do little updates and where we can all keep track of each others progress
