News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Well, I have been having mild period pains, lower backache and strong pressure pains down low. I am hoping and praying that he comes soon...

The doctor on Monday told me I would go in one week, bringing me to the 13th (3 days early). This is such good news, but I wonder how the hell he can tell this? He had just taken a look at how much amniotic fluid was in there, and he had monitored baby's heartbeat against the small contractions that I am having. So maybe it was based on all that? Anyone got any ideas?

I have had no show whatsoever - I find myself every time going to the toilet wishing for some mucous plug to appear!!! How gross / obsessed is that!!!

Anyway, I am anxiously waiting the news of the next October bambino... Solo and Chrissy, I cant believe we are here, almost at our due date after all this time!!!!!

I know, the time has really flown!! Fingers crossed we all get to meet our LOs sooner rather than later.

Wouldn't it be fun if we could all have our babies on the same day........ seeing as we've been through the whole process together it would be lovely.

Can't believe we're actually in the final stages now and it's just a waiting game.

Ani - Know what you mean about hoping for the plug. Every time I go the loo and wipe myself I sit and examine the tissue like it's a life line.... I hold it up to better light and even take it to a window to see if there's anything there if I check in daylight. Kind of reminds me of the good old peeing on stick days and searching for that non existant line that we could half imagine was there if we looked hard enough Only good thing about the search this time is that it's definately going to happen!!

Nothing happening for me still.....still no plug, still a bit damp down there occasionally and still getting strong BH's but they are all over the place so I'm not getting excited. I'm going to try sitting on my gym ball again later in the hope that baby's head pressing on my cervix will dislodge my plug and start me off

In the middle of the night i got up for the loo and on my way back, heard a thud on the carpet and my whole plug was there and all blood stained! You could definitely not mistake it. Have had lower back pain all day but nothing else. I have read that it could still be up to 2 weeks from loosing your plug so not getting too excited but glad that things are moving. Come on baby

There is def something going on in there for me, feeling of a lot of pressure / niggly pains down there, as before but more constant. I have been bobbing up and down on my gym ball all evening... But no show, no nothing... . I think I will just have to be patient.

Well I've been gettin painful BH's across the top of me bump for quite a while now but am noticing at night that am getting alot of niggly period pain type pain very low down in my pelvis.. ya know like the kind of pain you get when you ovulate?? so am guessing its everything relaxing down down there Have had a few really sharp pains in my cervix and Henry's bum seems to be lower down - certainly breathing is a little easier and not so much heartburn so am hoping when i go midwives next week his head might be a bit engaged

Had total stress out in the middle of the night cos my mum n dad are going on holiday the week before i am due and i really want my mum there and i am so upset that they booked their holiday so bloody close to my due date - they get back 5 days before am due and i felt like a right ******* for being upset but have just been chattin to my friend who lives the other end of somerset and she said don't worry i can be there in two hours if you need me - so i feel reassured

Anyways hope some of you get some good symptoms going today

STILL nothing for me yet. Same old gripes and pains but no baby. Going to try curry for tea and will MAKE hubby have sex with me later to see if that does the trick

Oh Chrissy, I know how you feel....

I really thought last night, when I was going to bed, that I would be woken up during the night and we would have to go to hospital. I was having major pressure pains down low, and period-like pains, and it was all very intense. And then nada!

Going to a housewarming party tonight, I just have to keep my mind occupied. And going shopping tomorrow...

Come on babies!!! Give your mummies a break!!! You should all come this weekend!!

Evening

Nothing to report from me today. Been having lower back ache and period type pains on and off but nothing at all happening. I have been eating pineapple like there is no tomorrow and had a curry last night too.

Chrissy - If only I knew what I did to loose my plug! I could make a fortune Although after loosing it, nothing else seems to have happened so knowing my luck it will grow back and baby will be sealed in there forever!

Ani - Friday night for you sounded good. Hope that it was just getting you ready and that the real thing will happen very soon. Enjoy the housewarming tonight

Fly - Sorry you are stressed about your parents. I hope that the timings work out and you go into labour when your mum is around I have noticed that I haven't had heartburn for a while either so hurrah for our babies getting into the right position

OK, so tomorrow is my doctor's predicted date and so far this weekend I have:

- eaten tons of pineapple
- had lots of sex
- walked for hours on end
- bounced on gym ball
- had spicy Indian food

I feel strong pressure pains at night time, and every time, I think "this is it" and then nothing...

Ah well...!! How's everyone doing??? I am off out for another spicy meal and will check back when I return!

Well i dunno

I was in bed before and led on my side and was gettin tightenings that was quite painful n down in lower half of tummy as opposed to the upper half of tummy where i been feelin BH's. And period pains really low down at front and pain in lower back

So i ave got back up again cos felt like i wanted to be sittin up and am still gettin twinges but nowhere near as painful as they was when i was led down...but they comin quite regular i decided ages ago that am not gonna time tightenings until i know am definately in active labour but at a guess i'd say bout every 6 minutes or so

Spose i could have had somewhat of a clear out today TMI time lol usually am a once a day kinda girl if you get my meanin but today i been about 4 times ooooooh

Not had any kind of show but bump has definatley dropped lots in last few days accompanied by quite alot of pressure and stingyness down below.

I not gettin too excited but ave been doin some nipple rubbin n what not last few days and been hormonal as hell too

Anyways am starvin so gonna go find sommat to munch n then give sleep another bash

So far.. since Saturday night.. (after my car crash)

babys head went from free to 2/5th's... i've got strogn period pains, and had a bloody discharge last night.. popped a pad in, and theres more this morning??

**update** i've def just lost part or my plug... was horrible, and just a pple decribed.. lots and lots of it..

Awwww sweetie try not to be scared i think tis only natural with what you've been through over last few days but you are gonna have your baby in your arms fairly soon by the sounds of things I'm still cramping up myself so might be we both jump the queue a bit lol lots of love and PM me if you wanna have a natter today on msn or sommat - big hugs x x x x x
