Well i woke up so early this morning.....and just could'nt get back to sleep, will feel knackered later. Going to try and keep busy today instead of sitting drinking tea and systom spotting, i'm going to have a mad cleaning frenzy, sort my frezzer out and do some some baking! Tomorrow i have my Midman appointent to look forward to!!

i now get a lot of backache but the consultant & MW have both said baby has moved to being back2back since being overdue. How nice of it! Today i think its lying on a big vein as im dizzy as well.... not making the end stage of this pregnancy lark fun. Im sure its giggling away inside me. Could only walk for about an hour yesterday with my mum before the pressure on my pelvis & backache was toooo much to enjoy being out.

Ive also "talked" OH into sex all the time until LO is born as he's read my leaflet for our induction & i explained that although there is prostoglandin in the pessaries they give you, its also found in sperm & he doesnt like the idea of me being induced next week either so he's all up for being "helpful"... even if its a chore

Well, nothing new for me really. Moved into my mum's last night AT LAST. It's such a relief, we've sorted out our room with all our bits and bobs in and now I feel all settled in. I would feel comfortable now if I went into labour, and I know it sounds daft but my mum would be here....and I really want my mum whenever I'm scared and I know I'm going to be scared shitless when it all kicks off Got MW this afternoon so will come back later and let you all know how that goes and what she says about my 'incident' on Monday night

As for symptons, nothing much this morning. Last night the baby seemed to be lying really low...I felt like I was walking like an old lady, it felt SO strange! I wondered if it was a sign baby was coming but it seems to have gone away this morning. I've been having BH's on and off last night and this morning....so nothing out of the ordinary for me!

Oh, one more thing (might be TMI ) I've had a HUGE increase in discharge down there. I'm pretty sure it's not plug because it's not jelly like...it's just creamy consistency but there's a lot of it Yuck!

well hopefully fingers crossed today is my lucky day.. i got up this morning and was bored so went and had a couple of games on gala bingo and only won £50 so was hoping the excitement would get lil man out at last but had no pains what so ever, anyway went upstairs for a wee about half 12 (TMI Alert) and sat down on loo and my knickers were very wet, then started weeing and thought to myself.. oo thats dont feel like wee, so tried to stop mid wee and i couldnt it just kept coming and then it did it again 5 mins later and i put some tissue there and def wasnt wee, well hope not lol as rang MW and off to see her to be checked in half an hour so this might be the start for me
Hoping she doesn't just tell me i wet myself I have no pains what so ever which i thought was wierd but she said contractions might start shortly. Will let you know what she says on my return x

Yahh iv got ur number and OH has it in his * to txt when labour starts * group on his mob lol incase im distracted but to be honest im not feeling like shes ready to make her grand entrance just yet, think i might be nesting though, wrote a list last night of everything i wanted to get done today and bar the hoovering ( in saving my shake n vac overhaul for later ) iv done it all including 2 angry phonecalls to tiscali so yayy !!

Also something very much TMI i dnt think its my plug, but its not like normal creamy discharge either ( going red writing thisss ) its like knicker snot, consistency of booogies !!! Anyone wanna enlighten me to what the good god that is ?

Hello girlies

All is well in the land of Claire and Bump! Blood pressure and wee fine Baby is lying laterally however (so not back to back, but sideways...so on her side I think) which is a bit worrying so I'm going to get bouncing on my ball and make sure she moves! Oh and the midwife has officially scared the crap out of me by suggesting my baby will be 8lbs 4oz! So I'm going to stop eating too Anyway I'm booked in for a sweep on 6th October (41+2) but hopefully things will move by themselves by then

Getting lots of BH's and baby is feeling low, so please god let me go naturally!!!

Hey girls
I haven't been writing in this thread the past few days as I've had nothing to report back to you all! And I still haven't! Just wanted to say hi. I had my show 2 weeks ago, loads of strong BH and other funny aches and pains but nothing else! I am struggling to sleep at the minute though, can't settle until at least 4 and then I'm awake again at 7! Also I've got sciatica, it really hurts, its constant pain and never goes away and every time I move I get shooting pains going up my legs into my back. And me and OH have come to the conclusion that having sex does not bring on labour! (although a bit awkward at first, was fun trying! )
It aint done nothing!! Sorry this has turned into a bit of a moan! On the positive side of things we have 7 days to go and we are really excited!

Lauran: I feel your frustration 7 days though!

Well I'm up early after a particularly restless night I went to bed at about 1.30am....dozed for a bit but didn't really sleep. I got up at 4am for a pee, then I came back to bed and dreamt about PF. I also dreamt on and off all night that I was in labour I think part of my subconcious brain believed that, so I was tossing and turning all night. Then OH's alarm went off at 7am, and I tried desperately to get back to sleep but I gave up at 7.45am and now I am up I expect I will have a nap later but still....I just want a good night's sleep!!! My mum said to me it could be a sign that I'm so unsettled....who knows eh.

So the plan of action for today is bounce, bounce, bounce on the ball. I had pineapple with my breakfast (as I have for the past 3 days) and I'm going to get some sexy time later if I'm not too tired No symptons yet, too early! I'm off to watch some baby programmes on Discovery Home and Health

well ive been up most of the night with HORRENDOUS backache... been trying to decide if it comes & goes or is constant as ive been told constant = just backache, on & off = early signs. I like to think ive got a high pain threshold but oh my god i was just wanting to curl up & die in pain... im max'd up on paracetamol, heat patches & have had a long hot shower this morning (had bath last night). Im not sure if i want it to ease off so i can have a decent day today or if i want it to carry on so there is the possibility its a sign My mum thinks im going to have baby this weekend for some reason so not telling her about the backache when i see her today if i can help it as apparently it all started with backache for her!! If i hadnt been told my cerbix was closed on tuesday i would also think i had yet another big show last night but now im wondering what the hell the stuff is!

Hi girlies.

I had my midman appointment this morning, he was so behind i was in and out in 5 minutes, i felt a little dissapointed....but all is fine, baby still engaged and in a good poistion.....i now have an appointment booked for nxt wk 40+6, would he have to offer me a sweep then?

I hope baby decides to come before then, although it's not looking likely and i did go overdue by 9 days with my daughter.

Hope some more babies make an appearance this weekend!!!!????

Sweeps seem to be different all over depends on what the professionals you have decide on the matter I think. You dont need the next app though.

My back kept me up last night too it was more like a constant dull ache though, still got a bit excited, hard to know whether to be annoyed or excited isnt it !

Every time i walk down the baby aisle at the supermarket i get all emotional like, this is the last time il walk down here without a baby, nxt time it'll be as a mum..... and then im back the nxt day thinking it again lol anddd im sure the mums in the aisle are giving me and bump dirty looks, they know im sneaking in !!
